Uh, one of the things that customers ask us about on a regular basis is, um, what do I do when, uh, it’s in between carpet cleans and I get a little spot on the carpet and just a little something that happened. Um, and we’ve come up with a process that we use personally from over 20 years of carpet cleaning and trying different, uh, effects and abilities on the carpet to see which way helps to lift the stains out the quickest and easiest. Um, and I like to direct you towards thinking of the way that you clean your dishes.

Clean your dishes is, uh, similar to the process that we use for carpet clean Tulsa, uh, since in our fiber. We want to be able to help you make it part of your routine. Also, uh, this is side. You would have a typically have three areas. You have an area to the right of your sink that you are going to dry your dishes and area on the middle of your sink where you’re going to rinse your dishes and area in the left of your sink where you are going to uh, wash your dishes. Um, now the washing part for your dishes can be a two different styled process. Some people go in and they’ll grab a plate and they just physically start scrubbing it, trying to get it clean. If you’ve got dried on spaghetti, you could do this was going to take you a lot of time and you’re gonna put a lot of elbow grease it, Africans to try and get that done.

Whereas on the other hand, if you just take a bit of Dawn and fill the sink up with hot water and then pour a little bit of Dawn into that hot water, Carpet Cleaning Tulsa you can then take that plate with the spaghetti on it, put it down in the hot water and let it set for a little bit. You want to let it soak a little bit of a soak. You are now allow allowing the stuff that’s on the plate to reconstitute. I get back into solution did that then can become soft again and it will just slide off the plate. So once you get it to that point where it’s soft again, it’ll slide off the plate. You think could just pick it up, turn it sideways and everything kind of just falls right off the plate. You then take water to rinse off all of the extra soap and all the extra food that’s on there. You might take a spine to this time and kind of wipe it a little bit and then take the plate from there and either physically hand dry it or set it in a tray, let it air dry on its own. The uh, this is the process that we want you to follow when you’re trying to clean your carpet. Um, the first part that we always tell people is um, remove whatever contaminant you can grab a shot back, suck it up. Um, might take a plastic baggy, something that you can just to remove the contaminant, a dustpan something that you can get the stuff that’s on the carpet up and off of it too. The more you remove before you start trying to clean the carpet at all, the easier and the better the carpets were clean up. Secondarily, you want to try to rinse out whatever you can and use the shot back in some water and just try to rinse off, sort of like having a plate with a pile of food on it.

You want to go over the trash first, scrape off the pile of food so that it gets it down to where there’s really not much in on the plate. Now that may be wet food, he could come over and just start rinsing the plate and rent most of the food and stuff off the plate just with water. Then if necessary, if there’s still a spot there, they use some type of a spot remover that is made for that spot. Uh, if it’s oils and greases, but something that’s more of a, um, a decrease or detergent. If it’s, uh, you know, makeup marks, they want to use some type of a solvent. If it’s a organic stains like pet urine or something of that nature, then you’ll want to use something that’s made for organic stains, like a pet product. And this is probably the step that a lot of people forget to do is they’ll use a carpet cleaning product like resolve or spot shot or approach shot. Um, and they’ll break the spot down, but then they never rinse it back out. They might use a rag to try to get it off the carpet, but then they don’t go back and say, Hey, what do I need to do to remove the soap and the chemical that I use to break the spot down. So if you leave those in, you now have left something that can attract new dirt and as good as the product is, even the, a really great dry cleaning and capsular products, they say that every fourth or fifth time you still need to go through and steam clean them to remove the residue from the chemicals that are left in the carpet.

And so we do the same thing every time. Just that way the residue doesn’t need to still sit there in your carpet. So take that shot back, which what we recommend to our customers to pick up a five gallon shot back from home Depot or Lowe’s and use that as your carpet cleaner because it’s got it made just purely for suction. You want the most suction, you can always take a spray ball of water and get something damp. But getting it dry is more important than getting it down. So having the capacity to be able to spray water down and suck it up at the same time is less valuable in our opinion than it is to be able to just suck out all of the stuff that you put down into the carpet so you can spritz it wet, suck it up, spritz it wet, suck it up, spritz it wet, suck it up.

Do it three or four times. You don’t want to pour the water. Always want to spray the water that way. If you pour it, it spreads.
