Um, one of the things that we talked about before, we’re going over the five different areas of petrochemicals and what they can do in your situation and how you can choose to use them properly.
[00:50] So many people have pet chemical that they’re not quite sure how they’re used or what they’re supposed to use them for, and so they get confused or they get frustrated because they try a chemical, it’s just not doing what they think it should be doing. And in some of this is based upon poor labeling, but a lot of this is sometimes just using something for the way that it was not designed to be used. And so, um, we want to try to help you to demystify what these different chemicals to do. First we talked about the, um, the pet stain removers, and this is after you’ve cleaned it, after you’ve disinfected it, after you’ve taken care of the spot, done everything you could to get rid of it. And there’s still a stain leftover, kind of like a coffee or tea stain that’s left behind after you’ve cleaned it. Carpet cleaning Tulsa
[01:29] And so you’ll use the stain remover and a little bit of dwell time on all these products. Will always have a dwell time for the stain removers to give it time to try to break down that stain, try to remove or reverse the discoloration that has happened to the carpet. Sometimes it is permanent, the account always clean every spot out because sometimes the biology of the pet has just made sure that the carpet has either been bleached out or has just changed or yellow knife. Typically as a general thumb, the more bright yellow it looks, the less likely you are to remove the spot. The darker the spot looks normally, the higher chance that you can remove it. Out of the second thing that we talked about. It’s a disinfectant. You’ve done everything. You haven’t removed the extra coloring or maybe it did come out.
[02:09] You removed all the contaminant, you’ve cleaned all of the carpet as best you can, and now you’ve just got a. You just want to make sure that the area is safe and sanitary so you’ll. You’ll get your pet disinfect. It product’s a good product that we use or recommend a lot for products for people is Oban, Odo b, a, m, a good product. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. We’ve run across all the different products, tried using many of them ourselves. Obviously we use a stronger, more commercialized product, but the over the counter products I’ve seen many customers use and how they’ve had success with them and how they’ve been really frustrated by them and typically we always recommend you pick the product that’s specific to what you’re trying to accomplish at that particular time. And I know it does suck sometimes to want to have three or four, maybe five different bottles of products that you’re using to be able to accomplish what it is you’re trying to get to, but it will end up with a much more favorable approach than trying to use just an all in one bottle.
[03:03] That is the master of nothing is good at everything. But the master of nothing, typically they aren’t good at everything. They typically aren’t very good at, at, at everything and, and are not good at anything. So they’re not very good at everything and not good at anything is typically how all your all in one product work in my opinion. Um, so we’re going to go into the cleaning side of things and these, this side of stuff actually could be almost any cleaning product there are. Um, you have your district carpet cleaners, you’ve got your detergents, you’ve got all kinds of different carpet cleaning products. There are specific ones for cleaning a pet stain. I would stick to the ones because pet urine is, is quite a bit different than pet theses. And so the pet theses one, you can pretty much clean up with just your standard, like you would clean any of your regular carpets, remove as much of the product as you can.
[03:51] If you run into a urine spot first things first, don’t try to go in and start cleaning it right away. Carpet cleaning Tulsa Grab a towel, throat over the spot, stand on it, and just suck up as much as you can. Grab your little shop vac or carpet cleaner and go over and put that there and just suck up as much as you possibly can. Get off of that spot before you get going. Um, so uh, the secondary part is that you’re wanting to break down what is left in the carpet. And so there are some pet cleaners cleaning products. They may have a little bit of a, of a stain remover in. It also may be, you know, pet cleaning and stain, removing action. Uh, the stain, removing action, always all stain removers required, well time, so anything you’re using in your rinsing, cleaning side, you’re going to put it down, break it up, and you’re going to rent it back out so it’s not going to have any stain removing in effect to it.
[04:37] You always want to use a separate stain remover at the end of the process because that’s when you put on there after it’s nice, good and clean and you leave it on there. You don’t want to use the stain removing cleaning products as your stain remover because if you do that then you end up leaving a lot of soap in the carpet because you’ll spray it, leave it for awhile, and now you’ve got all this soap is just sitting on the carpet and the spot looks like it just keeps coming back. So these are the ones that you want to use to break down. You’ve got ground in, you know, pet urine or pet, um, poo, that’s just kind of sit there or the body oils where the carpet while the pets les, I’m typically out a little bit more grease cutting or a higher detergent. [05:14] Um, you don’t want to mix these with your stain removers in my opinion because these are typically more soap or sudsy based, um, they’re going to have a higher ph. whereas most all of your stain removers or lower Ph, they are more of an acid than the. And the other ones are more of a base. So you put the two together, they typically cancel each other out. That’s why I think the all in one I’m cleaning and stain removing products are almost ineffective because either it’s going to be soapy or it’s going to be acidic. You can’t have both. Otherwise you just end up with water. So make sure that you use these to label directions. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998.
