Also, we have gone through and touched on, um, pet chemicals and we’re trying to demystify. We’re doing this little series here to demystify what it is that carpet cleaning chemicals do for you. There’s five different main categories, lots of tons of sub categories where they mix the different products together. Um, just as a general rule of thumb, we prefer that most people use a product specifically designed to do what it is they’re trying to call trying to accomplish.
[01:30] Um, and this is mostly because, um, you can be the, I’m the Jack of all trades, but master of none. And in this particular case for a pet chemicals, I typically say that, um, you can be bad at, at everything and not good at anything as a typically it never is actually good. The ones that are good are specific and the ones that are poor or mediocre or the ones that try to just do them all and a lot because a lot of the different chemicals are conflicting chemical, so you can’t actually mix them together. You can’t mix a disinfectant with an enzyme, for example, or you can’t mix a cleaning chemical with a, um, a stain, roofing chemical because the stain remover is almost always a civic and the cleaning chemicals always base. It’s always a high detergent type chemicals. So you need to make sure that you’re picking the right chemicals that you’re mixing together and you’re using.
[02:18] We covered the disinfectants, which are the ones that make areas sanitary. Again, they don’t clean, they don’t remove stains, they don’t do anything except for disinfecting it, that are killing off the bacteria. We covered the, um, uh, the ones that were a oto band is a good disinfectant, no one that we talked about and we’ve talked about stain removers and they’re not going to clean. carpet cleaning Tulsa They’re not going to disinfect, they’re not going to do anything except for trying to get the coloring out after you’ve already cleaned it and disinfected it. You then use a little bit of a stain remover to see if you can remove some of that coloring that’s in there. So many people mistake cleaning agents as stain removers because technically the spot is, is a spot when we mix these two terms together, um, and we call spots and stains and, um, which is, which is fine.
[03:05] There’s, there’s not really a big problem with that, but the, but the conceptual problem happens when you look at a spot remover, um, and think that is removing a stain and really is just removing a spot on the carpet. If you can remove it and clean it out, then it’s not a stain, it’s just a spot that’s on the carpet. Whereas if it was actually a stain, you would try to clean it, it wouldn’t come out. You would then have to treat it to try to see if there’s some product that might be able to break it down. For example, uh, a valid legitimate stain will be a yellow mustard. Now you could take and clean the spot of the yellow mustard out, but the carpet is now going to be yellow from all of the dye and the mustard. And so, and now it’s clean, but it’s now physically yellow carpet and there’s not much you can do to remove that. carpet cleaning Tulsa
[03:47] Um, there are other parts like say, um, oh, fingernail Polish, you could remove it and clean it off and it, but it was a good chance to leave some of the color behind or same thing with ink. You can remove a lot of the ink by breaking it down and moving it and sometimes the whole spot will come out, but then it may leave a stain behind afterwards. A furniture stain as a good example. Um, you always have to wear gloves while you’re applying for interesting because you’re worried about it actually soaking into your skin and dying your skin a different color. And then you have to just wait for your skin to grow out to where it off. There’s no real cleaning product. It’s going to remove that stain out of your hand once you’ve gotten it on. And so you have to think the same way on these different types of chemicals and what they can do.
[04:26] Um, and so the next part that we’re going to go over is the cleaners, which really just, um, was the products that were easy to use. Um, they’re going to just kind of pop pop up right there. They’re going to break down the stuff that work, kind of an all in one, the Jack of all trades, so they just kind of break stuff down and get it out. And then, um, the final product that we will cover is your enzymes. And these are important because they actually get in there. They’re not going to clean up directly, they’re not going to disinfect. Exactly. They’re not going to try to remove the stain. Their main thing is that they’re going to get to places that you can’t get to during your cleaning process. carpet cleaning Tulsa So you kind of. These are almost always soaks. And so you’ll put the enzyme on there and it’ll actually get in and most of the enzyme will get in there and consume the organic material that is left behind.
[05:09] So it actually the little, um, the little enzymes will get in there and consume the pet urine. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. We’ve had a lot of experience dealing with different types of pet products. And the enzyme ones are the dwell time ones. You always want to dwell time. You don’t want to rinse your enzyme back out. You want to put your enzyme in there and leave it in there for awhile. Now eventually you do want to rent it out. But at first you want to leave it in there and let it sit there. Carpet cleaning Tulsa has really taught us a lot of the different tips and tricks of ways to use these different products. And enzymes need to be used in a way that they are going to break down. They’re going to soak into places you can’t normally clean, like the back end of our carpet, the padding, and she’ll put it over there.
[05:45] The enzyme will consume the urine to consume the salt from the urine, and that’s what we’ll remove so that you can get moving forward.
