Our continued from a previous series about why I love Tulsa and the surrounding communities. My name is Nathan. I’m the owner of complete carpet. Uh, we’ve, I’ve grown up and lived here in the Tulsa area.

[00:52] We’ve serviced the Tulsa area for 20 years now. Um, and uh, one of the things about living in the Tulsa area that just really love or that is the feeling and the style of the people. carpet cleaning Tulsa Um, and I try to always give back that same feeling of style. I think that we should, as a golden rule, should always do unto others as you’d have them do unto you. And I think that’s really, people take that maybe a little bit different is, um, and I like it. I like, I think it was zig ziglar as approach to is that um, you should help everyone else accomplish their dreams. And in doing so eventually you accomplish your own dreams. And I think that you should just be one of those types of people that just in cautiously gives, just makes the life of those around you better because you can just create a different or you create a different environment for everyone that’s around you.

[01:35] Um, we should all try to be that type of person, I believe. Um, because you see the people that are just frustrated or angry and typically because they’re frustrated and angry, they make those around them more frustrated, angry, which makes them feel like their life just isn’t going well, which makes them more fresh. It’s this vicious circle of people perpetually looking at life and having trouble and problems with it as opposed to, I think the fact that every day that we’re around, every day that we’re doing something at that Vus, that’s a gift. That’s, that’s something that you’ve been given. The fact that you could get up out of bed today and then you can go out and see the world and see what it is that you can do. And you know, sometimes you can look at that and it can be tough. But, um, but you also need to stop sometimes it just look at the little small things that you missed. carpet cleaning Tulsa

[02:17] One of my favorite stories, and I tell this to my kids all the time as a way of reorganizing your thoughts, reorganizing your priorities and reorganizing what it is that you’re going to focus on is. Uh, there was a, there was a lady that went to, she was going to the airport to go take a flight. And so she went over to, while she’s waiting for her to be called for her date, she went over and bought a package of Oreos, um, these six oreos and the small package and she went over. She sat down and she’s reading a book and while she was reading the book, she reached down, open up the package of Oreos and took an Oreo out and ate it. And it was kind of just sitting down next to her purse on the floor and the guy sitting next to her then reached out and grabbed an oreo out also and ate it.

[02:58] And she kind of thought I was a little rude as a little strange. Why would he reached down and take one of my oreos? And so she kinda like, well, I just won’t make any. I don’t want to make a scene, I don’t want to make this be a big deal, so I will just, I’ll just, I’ll just ignore it. And so it just kind of reading her book and so she thought, okay, I’ve had theirs should be for Oreos left, and so she reached down and she grabbed two oreos this time and she decided she was just going to make sure that, you know, he just knew these were her cookies and so she took two oreos and ate them while she’d read a book and then, and eventually the guy reached out and again and pulled another oreo out of the thing and ate it.

[03:31] And she’s just incense now. She’s starting to kind of kind of squirm in her seat. She just can’t believe she’s getting a little bit hot and bothered a little flustered. Kim, why would this guy take my order? That was my Oreo. How, how would you take my Oreo? Um, I, I just can’t believe this. I just don’t know what to think. So as she’s contemplating just grumbling in her mind and just really frustrated, you kind of look, looking, looking at her watch, looking down, she just can’t think what, what should she do to confront this guy? What, what you going to do? She sees him reached down and grabbed the package of Oreos and pull out the last cookie and he hands it to her and she looks at it and she’s just in sense, how could you hand me my last cookie when you’ve already eaten two of them, like, what right do you do? carpet cleaning Tulsa

[04:08] You have even touched my cookies. I can’t believe this. And then so she, she, you know, she got frustrated. She just knocked the cookie out of his hand and as she did that, she heard her gate number get called and so just as he’s about to tear into this guy, she stops and she grabs her purse and she just storms off, you know, she, she’s going to get on the plane. She, she doesn’t want anything to do with this guy ever again. And so as you walked up to the thing, she’s waiting in line. She just kind of fuming and stuffy and steaming about what had happened. She gets up to the gate and they asked her for her ticket and so she opens up her purse to reach in to get her ticket and when she reaches in to get her ticket right next to her tickets, she looks down and she sees her package of Oreos in her purse still and all of a sudden that little bit of information changed everything she had just experienced.

[04:51] Now she turned back and realize that that nice old man had been sharing his oreos with her the entire time and everything that she thought about. The whole situation just got up ended and she started to cry because she realized that she had been angry at somebody who had been willing to give his last cookie to her because she. He felt like she must have needed it more than he did and I think life is like that. Carpet cleaning Tulsa and surrounding communities. Since 1998. I have seen so many situations where we are able to be that type of person. Where I want to try to look at every circumstance and I don’t. I don’t know what’s happened before. I don’t know what the previous carpet cleaner did. I don’t know what the previous person had done, but I don’t want to be the person who, no matter what it is that’s going on, I try to find you a solution now, whether that’s at my benefit or it’s at your benefit, it really doesn’t matter because, and the end.

[05:37] I want to make a customer. I want to make a connection. I want somebody who knows that they can rely on us and trust us in the long run.
