One, eight, four, nine, four, seven, zero nine. Three. One. The way that we ended up into this business, when I first started complete carpet, I actually started it as a carpet installation company. Um, I had done many other businesses, have tried many other businesses and ventures trying to find something I like to do and trying to find something that I enjoyed and most of them I got in and did them just long enough that I found that I didn’t really like them, but mostly I didn’t like because I hadn’t done it long enough to really get to know them. carpet cleaning Tulsa

[01:02] And uh, I started at about five overweight my whole life. My Dad was in a similar industry and so this was kind of my fallback think profession fallback things that I could do because I just knew how to do it. I just been around it. I’ve seen it, have, I intrinsically knew all about it. So I, you know, it was not the thing I really wanted to do. It was a thing that I just knew how to do. And so I never made the connection that it was something I could do as a full time, make it as, as a job. And so into my senior year, I needed some money because I wanted to get a jeep. I had a jeep Cherokee that was really looking forward to getting. I also wanted to start a computer business and so I needed to raise some money so I could start building.

[01:40] You’d have enough money to build some computer so I can have something to sell. And so I needed to generate some money in the easiest, quickest way. Um, I was talking to my dad. He said, look, I’ve got extra work that I don’t do. Um, I don’t want to do it. I’m not interested in doing it. I just turn it away. I said, but if you want to make quick money and do some stuff on the side when you’re not in school, because it was my senior year. So I was in school and I was playing basketball. So I had to kind of just take the nights I had free. He says, I can just shoot you one of these carpet installation ones. You just schedule them on nights that you’re free and then you can go and make some extra money on the side. And so I started off doing this and this got me connected with somebody over at the Tulsa Housing Authority who was looking for a carpet installer to do all the stuff and this would give me getting this contract will give me enough money to buy a jeep and also enough money to buy a couple of computers.

[02:25] And so I went ahead and bid for it. I didn’t think I would get it, you know, I was young, I didn’t think this was something will work out, but I bid competitively and I won the contract for the Tulsa Housing Authority to be able to do all of their carpet installations. And this completely changed everything around because I went from just kind of a side business, like a little lawn mowing company that you were doing on the side to where this is now an official business thing that you’ve got to do. So I had to set up a natural business entity at business banking so I could be able to get checks from the, from the city. And so I got everything set up, got all of my insurances, everything I needed to have set in place. And so I started installing carpet for the Tulsa Housing Authority. Worked out well because they just, every week they’d have a few that need to be replaced.

[03:02] They didn’t care when it got done, they just needed it done before the people moved in. And so I could do it at times where I wasn’t playing basketball or it wasn’t in school. And so that was the start of complete carpet at the time, the first name that I had for it was carpet care installation, uh, just felt like we were caring for your carpet by installing it. And so I hadn’t thought it all the way through as far as where I would go with it because at the time I thought that this would just be something small and then I was able to pick up the contract. And so we built from there and kept growing, um, carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. Our first step was into installation. And after a few few, after a few years of doing this, we started to quickly re, I quickly realized that there is not a longterm investment you can do in installing carpet.

[03:44] This is why I know my father didn’t install, um, why other people and I had talked to they quit installing after a certain time is because it is the second highest injury rates, injury profession that’s out there. Um, roofing is the number one injury rate that will tap you out of so you no longer can do that job. Um, carpet installation is the number two because you’re going to blow out your knee or blow at your back at some point. You can’t just keep doing it, slamming your knee into that Nika every single day for eight to 10 hours a day, 15 hours a day, trying to do as much as you can. And so I quickly realized I needed to transition. And again, um, I was, uh, had the opportunity to bid on the contract for the Tulsa Housing Authority to do all of their carpet cleaning carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998.

[04:24] We were carpet cleaning for the Tulsa Housing Authority, won the contract for that, so we actually did all of their apartment complexes and cleaned all of the carpets there, cleaned a lot of the carpets we had also installed previously and so that grew us into a carpet cleaning company and we wanted to make that transition. And so the biggest way, the quickest way we saw two transition was to rebrand and so I wanted to switch because right now we had installation in our name and we needed to change that so people knew that we could do more than just installed carpet and so we wanted to give you a more full offering, an offering that would be more um, have more services incorporated into it. We not only just cleaned the carpet, we can stretch it and repair it. And Ann Patchett, we could do water damage work, we can do pet damage work, you know, whatever it is that you needed. carpet cleaning Tulsa

[05:06] We kind of had a full offering, a full service. It can be like a full carpet cleaning company, but they just didn’t ring. Right. So we finally settled on the name that we said we wouldn’t be a complete carpet company. And so originally we were complete carpet care and that was our name. I believe it’s still our legal name, but uh, it just, that was a big mouthful. We also will writing it on things, complete carpet care, triple c, you know, virtually everybody just shortened it down to complete carpet that say you want me to write the cart, checkout to complete carpet and said yes. And so that was easier and quicker than complete carpet care. So we became complete carpet and have been that way for 20 years now ever since we started back in 1998, a carpet cleaning Tulsa and surrounding communities. Um, and this, that was our original connections, original start was moving into commercial space and trying to grow from there.

[05:53] Eventually we grew into the residential space because we wanted to deal with people who would want to use us to be able to create a longer term relationship with people and be able to get into people’s homes and give people a more renewable sense of what we could do. On a continuing basis to help the Tulsa and the surrounding communities, we are complete carpet, carpet cleaning Tulsa and surrounding communities. It’s 1998.
