We talked about, um, entry mats in our last episode about making sure the three things you really want to focus on or is that it’s that you don’t put something super decorative because people do not want to wipe their muddy shoes and muck up your entry mat that has a nice pretty presentation to your house.
And you need to have something that’s fluffy enough to get the dirt off of their shoe. Um, I had so many times where people have a hard flat matte that cannot knock the doctorate off your shoes. Even if you’re stomping on it, you just can’t get a response off of it. Um, and then also I’ve had many times where people will put too small of a map if you’d like a little two by three, Matt, if it’s only two feet wide, somebody can walk up to the door and they may only put one foot touches that map because they’re natural gait is they walk forward that one foot hits the mat, the next foot is over the map. And so you want to put something big enough. Three by four is a good place either inside the house, if it just too big for the outside to where people have, even if they don’t try to dock the dirt off their feet, Carpet Cleaning Tulsa it’s got enough fluffiness and enough fibers there and it doesn’t have any decorations of the people.
Don’t feel bad about getting it dirty. And then one thing that’s important after you’ve made sure you’ve found the right matt, is that you vacuum that matt on a regular basis. So many times I have seen people that have a really good maddie. It’s not, it’s not decorative, it’s big enough and it’s really fluffy, but it has collected so much dirt. That thing looks like it should just be thrown out. It shouldn’t be just thrown away because it is so packed with dirt and in any. They’ve already done their process, they’ve done what they’re supposed to do, and they actually can turn around and now start to hurt you. If you get a dirty matt, a math has got so much dirt and you can have someone with absolutely beautifully clean shoes, no dirt at all, and they while walking into your house, their feet get dirty.
They can actually get dirty from a dirty matt at your entry floor. They will pick that up and then we’ll move it into the rest of your home. So you know people that you could even take your shoes off if you want to. You take your shoes off and then you step in your bare feet or in your socks onto that dirty map and then you, your socks will pick up that dirt off of the Mat. We have seen many times where a customer will come in and they walk across their own carpets in socks and when you look at the bottom of their white socks after walking across the carpet, their socks, the bottom of their sock is now gray or maybe brown or may even be black.

You need to just replace it, chuck it by new and bringing another thing of. I’m a good, a real cheap. I think easy way is to go to a second store. You can get a whole chunk of carpet for 50 bucks. You can cut up five, six, seven, eight little area rugs out of it. Just throw it away and put a new one down so it has a new source of dirt. If you don’t really want to do all the maintenance than just every six months, it’s been one time each year or two times each year and just go through and just throw away the rugs that you have, put new ones in and then you don’t even have to worry about the daily maintenance. Again, that way you can stop the spread the propagation of dirt throughout the house and this will. You wouldn’t imagine. It’s amazing the amount of difference at this could do to the health and the wellbeing of a carpet throughout its lifecycle by just having areas traps, so to speak, that can collect that dirt and keep that dirt from spilling out onto the rest of the house just like a trash bag or trash container does. Throughout your house, you’ve got these little mini collections of dirt. You don’t just have. You have a place that when you have dirt in your or you have trash in your hands, you can throw it into a trash bag. It doesn’t have to just lay on the floor. Same thing in your house. You use those entry mats the same way that they can collect the dirt and it doesn’t propagate. Get into the rest of your house.
