One of the things that’s important after you balanced and you’ve gotten all of that moisture back out of the carpet and that you’ve gotten your, um, you’ve done a good job of cleaning.

Let’s just recap the whole process real quickly for you. Before we go onto a worrying about drawing, which will be our next step as we’ve finished through this series about the processes for getting your carpets cleaned. Um, one thing that’s real important is that you make a walk through. We’re going to go back through the different steps. Here we go. Step number one, when you do a walk through, when you go through and analyze what it is that needs to be cleaned, where the importance of the different spots are in throughout the house, that you have a good idea of what rooms need to be clean and how they need and what they’re going to need to be able to make sure they’re also ready. Good. Good walkthrough to make sure that all of the different processes are ready and in place. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998.

I know just recently I did a job where I did a walkthrough and I and I went through, I said, you know, a week and clean the carpets here, but it would be better if we rescheduled this job for next week because a lot of these rooms have a lot of small debris on the carpet and a lot of places to just. There’s so much stuff on the carpet already that we will only be able to clean a small walk path into each area if you go through and really pick up a lot of this stuff and do a, you know, it kind of a junkie out or just pick up a lot of these puzzle pieces and small kids toys and things that are all strewn throughout the house. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa, we will be able to do a much more thorough, deeper cleaning for you because we’ll be able to get to all of the different areas.

And they hadn’t realized that the whole upstairs just hadn’t been picked up yet and wasn’t, wasn’t prepared or ready to be cleaned. And so we actually did that walkthrough and just rescheduled for a later time. So that they will be able to get a better service for us. I knew we could just do the walkthrough areas, but we just wouldn’t look as good for them and wanted them to get the best out of their service that they could. And so that’s real important to do that first, that walkthrough. Number two is to do a pre spray and not just spray the spots, spray all of the carpet. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa That way you can get a layer of soap over everything and that way all of the carpet can be fresh and clean, not just the carpet that you walk on a regular basis, but the carpet behind the door, the carpet around the side of the couch, the carpet that goes down in the corners, you know everywhere needs to get a little bit of soap on it so that it can all be broken up and get to a fresh, clean surface.

Also, number two, you need to make sure that you are using hot water. I mean you can clean with cool water, but it just, it really changes the effectiveness of the soap. It affect changes the deepness of the clean that you can. You can really rip through a lot more. Another part that’s important about the priest prays that it helps to break down the water tension of on the fabric so that he can, when you go to rinse it, all this stuff will really get in there and rents through that, that surface much more effectively and to get to a lot deeper clean and rinse out a lot of those sugars and oils that would like to kind of hang onto the background. Uh, the next part is just that you have a good water pressure to go to really push through that. I mean if you’re just kind of laying out a small amount of water that’s not really been able to forcefully kind of inject itself into the carpet, that you won’t get a thorough deep rinsing off the fibers.

You don’t want too much because you don’t want it to blow through the carpet. Ended up in the back and get the carpets damaged, but you want just enough that those fibers just get a good rinsing and be able to enough to kind of filter through all of that dirt and debris that’s in that carpet and and get into solutions so that right behind it, just like a half an inch right behind where the water’s hitting down that there’s that strong, very strong suction, grabbing that stuff and just pulling it, repeat it right back out of the carpet so that he leaves those fibers nice and fresh and clean and that suction is very important. We talked about the importance of how you need to make sure that you have clean up all of your filters so you always running at 100 percent assumption that you’re really getting a good efficiency throughout all of the different process that you’re trying to do in.

The next part that we want to talk about is your drawing time. The part that I think is very important that you get, Carpet Cleaning Tulsa, that you addressed in, that you look through is that you want, I get this asked all the time, is how long is it going to take to dry him? One of the parts of that, of that is, um, you know, it’s going to depend on each job. If we have to really scrub that carpet and use more water on it to really kind of get a little deeper into the carpet because it’s extremely dirty. Um, it may take a little bit longer to dry and to compare to a house that’s not that dirty where we can go over and get the dirt broken up quicker to where we don’t have to use as much water so the fibers don’t get quite as wet or a carpet that is very thin.

I did a carpet just the other day where it was, um, it was a very thin level looped carpet, a commercial grade carpet. And we cleaned it and we had to use a lot of soap and a lot of water really scrubbed it hard because it was in a, um, a kind of a commercial living, a commercial dining space. Um, uh, but, but uh, it only took about an hour to dry because the carpet was so thin. It was only a half an inch or quarter inch thick that it just evaporated and dried really fast. We’re using such hot water and it just really drives straight out. And was almost before we had finished the rest of the room, half the room had already dried. And then I did another job where they had really thick carpet is probably two to three inches thick. It was just this big giant amount.

It was a very beautiful kind of rug carpet. But I told them, look, we’re going to clean this for you, but I want to make sure that you know right up front that you’re going to need to put some type of forced air going across it. Carpet cleaning tells us it’s 98. There’s many times where I’ve had to instruct customers that they’re going to need to do some special things to help these carpets dry because they’re just so thick. It’s like the difference between a bath towel and a beach towel. Your bath towels just thicker. It’s plusher and when you draw yourself with your bath, Carpet Cleaning Tulsa you gotta hang it out and it’s gonna. Take a while to dry. Whereas your beach towel, you could dry yourself off after getting out of the pool or off of the beach and really you hang your title over the chair and it’s, and it’s dry in five or 10 minutes, almost dries right away.

Whereas your bathtub can take all night long to drive, to leave it. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa, especially here in Oklahoma. If you leave it in a lump on the floor, you’re gonna wake up the next morning and pick up that bath though and it’s going to smell bad. It’s to have a mill dude because it’s. We’ve got high humidity and you just leave it laying as a clump on the floor. Age will not dry. And so your carpets can be the same way that if you’re not maintaining the good airflow, you’re not making, making sure that it’s at the right temperatures, that a really thick carpets aren’t going to just dry naturally, they’re going to need a little bit of forced air. You’re going to need a little fan or something to help that carpet bill to dry as it goes along because it’s just so thick. It can absorb more moisture will suck all of the general water we put in there, but you’ve got a three or four inch long fiber and it’s going to have more spots on it that it’s going to just stay damp as it’s trying to dry.

Um, one thing that helps a lot is just turning the air from auto to on to keep air moving throughout the house. Uh, making sure that the temperature of the house stays around 68 to 70, 72 degrees somewhere in there. That way it’ll dry a little bit quicker. Maybe you’re in a super speed rush. We’ve helped a few customers that can be able to get their carpets dry faster. We’ll, we’ll talk about that next.
