I’ll probably give a little backstory here. Do a little back information. I’m just asking how long something’s going to dry. Um, can have so many different variables, steps and generally, um, I tell most people will dry the same day that we clean it, but there is some exceptions to that and sometimes we’re able to write a much faster.

[00:54] Um, as far as small thing that you could do to try to improve that to drying time, if you’re looking to try to get it done a little bit faster, I’ve had some times where people have a quick move in and um, uh, the needing to try to, or they’re a closing has gotten pushed back and they ended up a couple of days off and now they’re getting really close to the time they’re trying to move all their stuff in, but they still have, I still haven’t taken possession of the home yet, but they want to get the carpets cleaned before they move all of that furniture in. And a little side note on carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. Uh, one of the things I’ve noticed that’s just a great general practice thing is that if you want to get the carpets cleaned, always put us last on the list of things to be able to be done.

[01:31] If you’ve got going to have a say a house cleaner come through there, you’re going to have all of your different service personnel, have all of your inspections, all the different things that you want to get accomplished. Um, right before you get to bring all the stuff into your home, which is good because now you can clean throughout the whole home. You want to make sure that you’ve gotten everybody else who’s going to get in there and potentially the carpets up. Even your house cleaners, even though they’re going to be, you know, they’re coming in there to make your house cleaner and look better. Um, they also are going to go through and do dusting. They’re going to knock down a lot of stuff that’s above the carpet. There’ll be doing sweeping. They may do some vacuuming, but a lot of that stuff, they have to walk across all the carpet.

[02:05] You have to go to all the areas. And, and even with a very good, a house cleaner who’s going around there, you’ve now got a, you know, two, three, four people that have just gone through every square inch of your home. And wiped and dusted and knocked all of that dirt and debris down onto the carpet. Now they will probably go through and vacuum it up also, but when you’re coming in there, it’s best to get let somebody, because we always go to the farthest reaches of the home. We start to clean and go backwards and we’ll bring all of our stuff so that when we finished that no one has touched or walked on that carpet yet until you do for your first time. And so when you’re going to get that first run through, make sure that you put us at the very end so that you don’t have other people who maybe are not as considerate about your new home in the clean cleanliness of it.

[02:46] Um, do a bunch of walking through and get the cable guy. Get the electrician, get whoever it is that you want to have. You get the house sprayed for whatever it is that you want to do before. Um, you have us come out to clean. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998, one thing I’ve noticed many times is that something that some people don’t think about is when you are going to have the carpets cleaned and you’re starting to move in. Um, which is good. Uh, the main reason I, we suggest that you get your carpets cleaned before you move in is that your furniture is not the previous tenants or the previous owner’s furniture. And so wherever they had their furniture layout and normally you can kind of see the little outlines route because I’m a big piece of furniture is a, like a carpet protector.

[03:26] Um, it’s a, it’s a block of an area that you can’t walk across. And as if you never walk on the carpet and you never spill or drop anything on the carpet, let’s just say that you’ve got a giant area rug. Almost every time that people have a giant area to room, they moved in, they put up giant area rug down when they pull that John Up. Everything under that area rug is fresh and clean. Or another good example is when you have a desk mat, um, you’ve got a desk rolling chair and you’ve got those hard plastic mats over it. Almost everybody has had the experience where you pull up the desk mat and you can see a definitive outline around that desk mat of where the desk was and where it was not because the carpet looks brand new, weathertech mat was and everywhere else around it has been worn down and dirty. Carpet cleaning Tulsa

[04:03] So you see this rule, this halo around the outline of where that piece was protecting the carpet. And so the different things throughout your home that are there, you’re a couch, your bed, your addressors, these are all protecting your carpet. These are all putting, um, a little barriers, a little walks, but this is a do not crosses zones. And so this will actually protect those areas. Those areas will stay cleaner than all the rest of the areas in the home. Uh, but one thing that you do see is that the areas around those get more traffic. As people come up to the couch, they come up with the couch, they sit down, they put their feet down right in front of the couch, in that area, will get worn out and get dirtier faster than the areas around it. Um, and so, um, when you come in and the reason that we’re talking about this is that when you were wanting to move your furniture in, the other people have already pulled all of their furniture out.

[04:48] Now, um, you, if you come in there and put your furniture in exactly the same spots that they had had their furniture, then really there’s probably no difference. You can move all your furniture back in the exact same thoughts. We can come in and clean the carpets and we’ll clean all the dirt out that was there. But most of the time that we run into is that people. Um, even when we cleaned carpets, we’ve gone through at one time where we cleaned the customer because they’re wanting to sell their home and I cleaned it. Then they actually moved out, but they had all their furniture in place when we cleaned it, which, which we do often. We do a traffic area cleaning that’s normal. But when they went to move, they sold the house. A month later they had moved out, they left all the furniture in place and they sold all the furniture because they, they moved out of state. Carpet cleaning Tulsa

[05:24] Um, and so when they moved all the furniture, they now saw that we had cleaned the carpets around the furniture better than the carpets were cleaned under the furniture. Now they actually have these reverse circles because it turns out that the lady liked to move her furniture a lot and just hadn’t really thought about the fact that there it was probably dirty carpet under those piece of furniture. So the new people moving in, they give us a call and they want to just come back and be able to go through and do another cleaning to get all of the areas that the furniture had been sitting to get those areas cleaned. And so when you’re getting your carpets clean and you’re wanting to move in there, um, one of the big things you’re wanting us to do a wall to wall cleaning on, in between one person moving out, everything’s gone and the next person moving in and bringing their stuff in it that we can clean all of the areas so everywhere is equally clean.

[06:05] Um, and so when you put your furniture down, you know that it will have its new fresh area that it’s going to protect and you don’t have to try to match the previous person’s furniture marks so that you can make sure wherever you want to put the furniture is going to be fine because that area is not going to have some strange contrast in the cleaning, cleanliness of the carpet in front of it. The cleanliness of the car behind it. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. Uh, we’ve helped so many people will be able to get into these different process. Um, we will continue this series in the next one going on about dry times. But this time I felt like just knowing the why and the where to get that carpet clean and that, that general process, that timeframe a really helps a lot because a lot of times I’ll have people get into a place and not prepare or even mentally be ready that you may clean your home and you’ll need to probably put it on your calendar.

[06:50] You may want to get it cleaned again before the next person moves in because there’s going to be, you know, depending on the length of your showings. Uh, there’s gonna be a lot of people are gonna walk through that home to take a look at it and they don’t always have the same consideration that you do for where it is. They’ve seen three, five, 10, 15 homes today and they hit a certain point where they just kind of power through it and they’re not thinking about did they just walk through grass or walk through mud? And so we can always come in there and get you taken care of. We are complete carpet, carpet cleaning Tulsa and surrounding community since 1998.
