I’m gonna. Talk this time about, um, can, uh, the, the allergy benefits of cleaning the carpet. One thing I’ve heard many times while talking with people is that they think that carpet itself is a, an allergy. You know, like if you’ve got bad allergies, you just have to rip all the carpet out of your cart out of your house. Carpet cleaning Tulsa
[00:58] And unfortunately, I think this fallacy has been propagated by some good advertising by wood floor guys are tall guys. It’s primarily it’s wood floor. It’s because your wood floors or some of your most expensive surfaces surfaces to put down. And so a lot of times you’ll have your wood floor installers or I would feel a company come in and just, you know, put out a, a false claim that, well, I mean allergies are bad because, um, uh, because the carpet is just a source of allergens, whereas the wood floors are smooth and soft and you can just wipe anything off so the allergies can’t get into your wood floors. And on a, a high concept. This is true if you just do not take care of your carpet. If you have someone with tons of cats and they just sleep on the carpet or dog that sleeps on the carpet all the time and you just leave them for five to 10 years, it never clean or maintenance your carpet.
[01:48] Then eventually that carpet is going to absorb a huge amount of, of issues and pro problems into it. But you also have the exact same problem with wood. If you get the wood wet for one day, then it’s all going to buckle and it’s all because going to be ruined and it’s all going to become a source of, of mold and mildew. And it will just, you know, make the whole area smell because now the woods rod in and it’s all buckled up. So no matter what your flooring surfaces, whether it be wood or carpet, um, if you leave it on, taken care of and on, maintenance is going to become a source of problem for your house. I’m the only exception to this is tile, but towel can be at the same thing if you use real heavy soaps, um, anytime that you’ve gone into a bathroom and looked at the tile in the bathroom and saw mold growing on it. [02:32] So it’s all of these different sources. Services are not the source of the problem. The problem is a lack of maintenance. No matter what surface you want, whether you just have stained concrete or they’ve got a tile floor where they’ve got wood floors where you’ve got carpet, no matter what you’ve put on your flooring, the flooring needs to be maintained because the allergens come from some other place. Um, you know, very, very rarely do you have anyone that’s specifically allergic to the wood or to the ceramic and the tile or to the granite or to the nylon in the, in the carpets, you know, most of the time what they’re allergic to is the, um, the things that have been inside that house. Maybe that’s a dog or a pet or a cat. Maybe it’s a, I’m a water damage that happened that created some mold issues.
[03:17] Maybe it’s, um, you know, milk that was spilled, that’s now souring on whatever the surface may be. A, all of those surfaces, none of them are a source of allergens. And so he needs to off with that as your basis. And realize that maintenance and cleaning is, is the key. Now, the reason that carpet can become a major source of allergies is because people do not maintenance their carpet nearly as much as they maintenance every other surface in their home. But the carpet right after you go through the perfectly mapped, um, carpet is all perfectly mapped. And so the carpet has continued to just absorb the, um, uh, all of the dirt and debris that fall in, that come in through the front door that have got swept or run across. Um, think of it this way, if you wear a pair of jeans and you wore them every day for a week, they would start to smell pretty bad. If you wore them everyday for a month, they would become really grimy from anything that you’ve wiped your hands off. And if you wore them everyday for about a year, eventually they’re just going to fall apart because they have so much grit and grime and dirt and stuff that have stuck to it. That could have gotten cleaned out right away but have but has not been in his hip and left there to fester in the things and you pretty much just have to throw those genes away if you will, or them for one year straight.
[04:42] They just have so much body smells and odors and stuff like that. Think of your carpets in the same way. If you just let your pets and your animals, your kids drink spills as people walk across anything that you’ve walked outside in and new come into your house and walk with your shoes on is now getting wiped off onto the carpet. And unless you have a regular maintenance schedule of vacuuming the fee, unless you have a regular routine for getting the carpet clean, all of that stuff just sits there and the carpets. So once you get it cleaned, you’re going to remove all of those contaminants and now you’re going to have a good, fresh, healthy surface to go in and again, but unless you’re having regular maintenance done to that carpet, yes, it can eventually become a major source of allergens for your kids and your pets from your pets for your kids and uh, because you just have not maintained the property of that thing.
