[00:48] We run into spots that have just physically damaged the carpet that just cannot be cleaned out. A good example of this would be I’m uneasy side, like black hair dye or if you get too, too much mechanics grease that’s just barely been ground in there. Or um, metal shavings, we’ve got things that can damage the carpet like a bleach or for. A lot of times they’ll see a customer use for nine or maybe a child. They’ve made a spot on the carpet and it may just be dirt, but they go in the kitchen, they grabbed four nine, which is the bleach based product. And they use it to try to clean up the spot and then overtime the color of the carpet fades or it comes out. Um, uh, another example of fading is a door or window or patio door that faces the sun in the morning and the evening.
[01:28] And so you’ve got that morning or the afternoon sun directly baking on the carpet. And so you get that first area, that first foot or two off the door, the window where the light is being shown straight onto the carpet and the carpet will fade out. It will lose its color. So no matter what we do to clean it, no matter what we do to try to pick it back up, it’s still going to have lost some color. Uh, one other part that also is sometimes gets broken down that cannot be cleaned is the backing of carpet. The backend of carpet is naturally white. So any fiber you put on top of it is going to look a little brighter and fluffier because you’ve got a white backing behind it. And so it’s gonna pick up the color of the look of the carpet that’s overtop of it.
[02:08] Now overtime, uh, you’re going to have these traffic areas that are going to just get so much dirt into them. If people aren’t staying on top of it on a regular basis, then that dirt is going to filter down to the vacuum the carpet, kind of like a gold miner digging for a panning for gold. You get through or you’re like at a kid in a sandbox or used to get those big metal, um, chicken wire or something that you put all of the sand in and you kind of sift it. carpet cleaning Tulsa So the toys would get stuck, but all the sand to fall through, the same type of thing happens with your carpet. Each time you walk on it, it’s kind of like a trampoline. It kind of shakes all of that dust and dirt and it falls down just a little bit farther into the carpet and as people keep walking across it, eventually all that dirt settles into the back end and gets embedded into the glue and the backing of the carpet.
[02:46] Now that glue, that white glue that’s sitting in the back of the carpet is now slowly turning gray or brown because it’s got embedded into the glue. Now stuck into the glue is dust and debris and dirt and this will cause those areas. Even if you can get the fibers perfectly spotlessly clean that area, we’ll look a little bit gray because now the backing of the carpets gray underneath the carpet, whereas the areas on the sides are clear and I’m white and so they look more bright in the center. That place that you can see this a lot in is in your walk paths, in a commercial buildings because a lot of times you have huge amounts of people walking through and if they don’t stay on top of it on a daily or weekly basis, then that dirt can get down into the back and it just sits there.
[03:28] And so no matter how much you clean it, you still have, you can still kinda see this gray path of where the walk path is. The fiber itself, you cut the fiber out, looks perfectly clean, but the backing, the canvas of that fiber is it darker and so you’re seeing through the fibers and having this darker canvas behind. So it makes the whole area look darker. Um, another spot that we run into is I’m like the hair dye or coo later mustard, something that gets into the carpet that just cannot be removed. Um, other than other thing is something that damages the carpet, like a curling iron or an iron cigarette, burns a coal pops out of the fireplace and lands on the carpet. So some of these things are get down into the carpet or on the carpet and ways that it can not be cleaned out. carpet cleaning Tulsa
[04:08] Now we can get it clean and sanitary, but it’s still going to be colorful and so all of those areas, whether it be bleach or hair dye or whatnot, can also be taken him patched out. Another way of repairing or restoring a situation is to go in there and just take that piece of damaged carpet and put it in a closet or a for less sample carpet or extra carpet you’ve got of that particular house. When it was installed. We can take that good carpet and then replace that area with another piece of carpet. And if you’re in the middle of a walk path in the middle of an area that you walk on a lot, that carpet is going to look at texture wise, different than the carpets that are up against the wall.
[04:55] And so we will bring a piece of carpet from a closet, bring it in there, and it’s going to look like brand new carpet next to carpet that is a little bit more flat or worn or has changed in texture wise. And so, um, in those situations a few times we’ve had a piece of carpet that was more warranted. We could match place for place or you just put it in there and you just have to, no one, you don’t have a hole in the carpet anymore. But as you walk across it, this carpet is going to blend in more because now you’re gonna knock that gene. You’re going to knock that fluffiness off the carpet and it’s going to become like the carpet around it. But there’s almost always something that we can do to try to restore the situation for spot that can’t clean out that it can be.
