I’m one of the things that we do offer to our customers so that we can do. I’m at a furniture cleaning process now. Not every piece of furniture we can clean. There’s some that require a specific specialty cleanings. Um, a type of a dry cleaning process that needs to be a chemical only cleaning or for older types of pieces of furniture, but the majority of all new furniture can be cleaned with some type of water based cleaning.
[01:13] All of your microfiber micro suede furniture pieces can all be clean with just using a little bit of water. And we use a specific tool called upholstery tool. It’s a small carpet cleaning wand and in this case at the fabric cleaning wand, so it’s only about four inches wide. It uses very low pressure and it uses a small single jet to go over it. And the big thing, the big thing to look about or to think about while you’re cleaning furniture is that whenever you’re wanting to clean furniture, the fabric on the furniture compared to your carpets is a extremely thin. It’s more tee shirt then compared to the carpet, which is more like a large wooly sweater. And so you’ve got a lot more fiber they are having to power rents through when you’re dealing with your carpets. Whereas with the furniture you have to, you have a lot thinner fabric.
[01:58] So you have to go over it multiple times, you can’t just clean it in one pass because you don’t want to get the cushion inside of the furniture wet. If you get that cushion inside wet, then the friendship is going to take a very long time to dry. I’m one of the UN may even spoiler mildew overtime. So you’ve got to make sure that you use very light fiber, very strong suction, and go over it multiple times. This is one of the reasons that furniture cleaning can be more expensive than you would than you’d imagine because it takes a lot more work than most people think. Most time they think, oh well you just kind of wipe over different. Some of the different areas on the couch and it takes like 10 or 15 minutes, but an average couch takes 45 minutes to an hour to clean. Carpet cleaning Tulsa
[02:35] A love seat takes 30 to 45 minutes in a chair can take up to 30 minutes to try to clean because you’re going over all these different surface areas with only a four inch carpet cleaning or upholstery cleaning tool. And at that you have to go over it multiple times, five, six, seven times. You can’t just do one pass like you over carpet. You’ve got to go over it multiple times. So you never get too much water on it. You’re making sure you’re doing plenty of extraction strokes to remove all of the moisture out of that particular piece. One of the things that I think is real important when you’re dealing with furniture is that you’re using the proper amount of chemical that you’re making sure you’re going light because the less stuff that you leave in that furniture, the longer it will stay clean in the better for the health of that piece of furniture.

And uh, we always try to make sure that we’re doing the best possible service in the best possible way for all of our customers so that we’re able to give them something that’s gonna last them a good long time. We do this by making sure that we’ve always been well trained and well versed in what it is that needs to be done for each type of piece of furniture. Now, in each furniture, there’s a couple of different things that we could do. Um, most the majority of all the furniture cleaning that we do is all topical, uh, all of the furniture cushions and the back cushion that everything, they all stay in the same place and we just clean all of the areas that you have been sitting on and been exposed to. This is your easiest clean and, um, uh, one of your most thorough cleans because everything stays in place.
[03:55] A lot of couches, they’re Christians are sewn in place anyway, so you just clean the exterior outside part. We do offer a, an additional cleaning where we can go through and clean both sides of the cushions. This takes a little bit more time and effort because you have to remove every single question and you have to be able to clean both sides. You’re doubling the amount of surface that you want to clean. The secondary part is that you also want to make sure that you do not put those Christians back into place until they’re completely dry because otherwise they will not dry touching fabric and fabric. You got to stand them upright and some type of other facilities that you can be able to make sure it, it dries the, the proper way for you. In that scenario. I’m probably a number one reason that someone has just bought a used couch or furniture or gotten a piece of furniture from a relative or someone that they know that’s donated to them where they’ve, they’ve acquired it through facebook or from craigslist or something like that where they’ve picked up a new piece of furniture and they now want to make sure that whatever was done to that piece of furniture previously can be undone. That we can go through and clean it and make it fresh for them. Actually did one customer where we clean a big large blue couch that would kind of, it looked almost like a kind of seafoam green kind of color because it was, they thought that’s just the color of the couch.
[05:18] But once we got it cleaned, it actually was kind of more of a, uh, a more medium dark blue color because it had, um, had just so much dirt on it that it makes with the blue along with the brown dirt and it actually made it look kind of greenish in color instead. And so they were surprised how much dirt the previous person had had on it. And it was, they got a completely different looking couch than what they expected. They liked the new color fortunately. But um, it was, it just shocked them that they had been sitting on that couch for so long. Not knowing what all of that dirt was from that previous person in there.
