Give us a call today. Uh, one of the things that I love to look over every now and then is some of the other uses that you can do with carpet.

[00:49] We’ve all seen carpet and all kinds of different areas and different functions for it. The main function is flooring in your house, uh, all home, majority of all homes have carpet throughout. And one thing I noticed back in the 2000, early two thousands kind of going through the, um, all of the single digit years was that a lot of homes switched over to all wooden, all tile. And this fad was on one side. If you’ve got a rental and it’s all tile, then it’s, there’s very low amount of damage that the tenant can do to the floor. And the floor is going to last a good long time. Carpet cleaning Tulsa The downside to this is that anyone who’s had an all tile home knows three big things happen. One, if you want to keep your shoes and your socks on at all times because the flooring is cool because it’s directly under the slab and the slab has always at your, um, the earth, the dirt surface temperature that it’s sitting in it.

[01:43] So it’s typically sitting at 60 50 to 60 degrees. And so you get out in the morning and you’ve got some really cold toes. So you’re always wanting to keep your shoes on. Number two, any hard, completely hard surface home is going to have any gritten dust. There’s nothing to stop it. There’s just gonna be everywhere else. Every time the air kicks on, if you’ve got allergies is going to blow that dust around, and so it’s going to end up with big dust bunnies in the corner and all of the dust and debris just kind of flies and slides across the floor at all times. If you drop anything onto the floor, it hits a Cheerio, hits the floor, it’s a hard floor, breaks into a million pieces. It goes flying across everywhere you’re one tree or if someone steps on a Cheerio, cracks and then you just end up with grit and sand everywhere.

[02:22] Now, the third process that most people don’t think about until they’re in a big, um, how’s it has it, is that the more hard surfaces you have, the more reflective audio surfaces you have a. So the sound will resonate even more. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. One of the things I’ve run into so many times, anytime I deal with a house, it’s all hard surface, is that you walk in there and you could say hello at the front door and then you go to the farthest reaches of the back room in the back closet and you would hear almost a perfect replication of that sound in there because it is. There’s nothing that has come through those areas that could stop or buffer that sound down. And so the whole house becomes more of a cathedral like experience. It becomes very echoey and noisy because all of the noises throughout the house, there’s nothing to dampen the sound.

[03:06] And so one of the things that Sam, that carpet brings to a house is it sound dampening properties because sound that hits carpet thuds and doesn’t reflect backup. Uh, you will notice this, a lot of people use this great. The property of this particular property of carpet is in, say a studio where they’ll put even pad up on the walls or foam or they’ll put carpet on the walls of almost every movie theater. If you go through the movie theater, put your hand up against the wall as you’re walking along, you’ll have fabric or carpet put up against the walls to be able to knock down the sound between the theaters so that you have a more quiet environment. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. One of the other places I’ve found carpet that you wouldn’t expect to find carpet is underneath your table in high end restaurants are underneath your chairs and high end restaurants also because most all restaurants have hard surfaces throughout the whole place.

[03:55] They take in any place that they can put fabric or surface. They also, the reason they put up pictures and other things on the wall or fabric, big fabric panels, you’ll see this in churches too, um, is that it will absorb the sounds, the sound bounces off the floor, but hits the bottom of the chair, hits the bottom of the table and it gets absorbed in churches do the same thing or any studio or things. They’ll take these big carpet wrapped or fabric wrapped panels. They like. They look like giant pictures and they hang them all across the wall. They look like just geometric shapes going across the wall and you think, oh, they just, they’re just there for decoration, but they actually serve a functional purpose that they are helping to break down and stop sound from bouncing around so you don’t get it really echoey type of large cathedral sound.

[04:33] Do you want to more of a muted studio? Sounds of the people’s ears can pick out the talking and pick out the music more clearly and it’d be able to keep it a separate. The sounds. Carpet cleaning Tulsa is in our fiber and we love to connect with you and show you some of the things that we can do for you to you to help you to maintain the life and the wellbeing of your carpet. Carpet has so many different uses of. I’ve had carpets, customers that say, oh, well, I mean I’ve got all wood or I’ve got all carpet and have it all. Tile and house are all wood. I don’t have any. I’m going to switch to new places and have no carpet at all and I ended up getting those customers right back because once you’re in an all tyler all woodhouse, you notice how noisy it is and also how cold it is.

[05:13] So you end up putting rugs under everything and put a rug under your bed so that when you get out of bed in the morning, your feet are cold. You put a rug in the kitchen to try to stay off of the different areas that run through there. Uh, also, um, one of the things that you run into with carpeted areas of that, especially in your living areas that you have little kids, you don’t, it’s hard to get down and play on the floor without hurting your knees are hurting the different areas. So you end up putting down a big rug in the living room area so you can have a place to sit down and play games or get around the coffee table or you know, get down on the floor. So almost everywhere that eventually goes to all hard surface, they still call us out anyway to clean up the rugs that they’ve put over all of those rooms to build a knock down the sound and make it more of a, um, a nice, friendly environment.
