Why a steam cleaning, um, uses very hot water is, um, because of the melting or the boiling point of water helps to expedia or increase the, um, the reaction time that you have with all of your chemicals and also all of your elements.

[00:59] Also, another thing is that everything has a dilution point, a dilution ratio. Most everything can be dissolved in water. Water is the universal solvent, but the hotter the water is, the faster the molecules move. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. I’ve been able to explain to so many customers over those years exactly the process is, but a lot of times just seeing is also believing. If you compare this, I think the easiest recognizable example that I’ve given over the years that people really connect with is washing your dishes. Uh, you can get into wash your dishes and you will be able to go through and clean those dishes up and you’ve got butter on a plate and if you use cool water, you have a hard time getting that butter to melt in, to rinse off that play because the water just kind of flows over it. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa But you get that water hot enough and eventually it gets up to where it hits that melting point of the butter and it just dissolves right off the plate.

[01:49] You know, scrubbing. No soap. I mean you can’t use a lot of soap to break it down, but the water itself, we’ll break it down. The hotter it gets, an industrial kitchen, they actually used his live steam so they can blow, blow all of the stuff right off of it and actually sanitize it all at once. The carpet cleaning process that we used, the heat of the water is not hot enough to directly sanitize, um, that would require a long, at least 60 seconds of direct straight steam to be able to get that type of sensitization effect. And if you use that much heat and that much steam directly onto the carpet for that long of a period of time, it would break down the carpet itself. And so we don’t want to go through and do that part of it. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa We want to make sure that we are going through and separate setting things up in a better way so that it doesn’t get done.

[02:29] That doesn’t damage the carpet. The heat of the water is mainly so that you can increase the, um, uh, decrease the amount of time it takes to break down the stuff that’s in the carpet with this does two things. One, it quickly removes the contaminants out of the carpet and the faster you move the contaminants out of the carpet, the less water you need to use. Um, so the carpet will dry faster. Also, the heat of the water allows the water to evaporate quicker out of the carpet as it’s drying, and so you’ll actually get a quicker dry time than you will if you use cold water instead of hot water. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. One of the things that we see that I think is very important is that we are able to help to maintain and get carpet cleaner faster because our chemicals, we use the heat of the water also in our pre spray, so the priest bravery put down is also hot with that soap that’s in it so that it will hit the carpet and be able to penetrate and break things up.

[03:21] Quickly. Did a job just the other day where the went through and just did a priest pray over all of the carpet and the customer came in and asked me. He said, my goodness, how did you clean the carpet so fast? And you’ve only been here a couple of minutes and just the fact that we had hot water and pre spray breaking down the dirt in the in the carpet and resolving it and getting it into solution. A lot of the spots just disappeared right away. Now those spots are not gone. And this was one of the important thing that I want to do comment and I told this customer about and I would love to make a comment here on this podcast, is that some sometimes you’ll get in and you’ll clean an area and you’ll spray over that area and it looks like the spot is dissolved and it’s gone and it has been diluted.

[04:00] But the dilution of that spot still exist there. The spots is still there in its full form. It’s just instead of being 100 percent spot, it now is 50 percent or 30 percent spot. It is dissolved into the water and in now spread over a bigger area. And so it’s not so concentrated where you can see it all in one spot, but it still is physically there. Nothing has come in to clean that out of the carpet is just dissolved it down. Sometimes you’ve used to cleaning products and that’s the problem that I have a lot with some of the home cleaning products that people will use, that they’ll just spray on a chemical, they put enough chemical onto a spot and scrub it, uh, that the spot looks like it disappears and it’s all it’s done is just dissolved or diluted that spot down and made it bigger and wider so that it’s not all concentrate one slot, but there’s been nothing yet to take that spot out of the carpet.

[04:45] And so it’s still sitting there in so and in water in that carpet is going to dry now it’s gonna attract dirt and she’ll see people who have gone and cleaned a spot then come back a week or a month later and now the spot is back and it’s even bigger because they’ve just spread out the spot and made it more wider and less and more diluted. So one of the thing that we do that’s just super important that that after we’ve broken down the spots, we go back over all of those same spots and give it a thorough rents. We want to make sure that we rent all of the extra stickiness, all the extra stuff out of that carpet. One thing that hot water also does carpet cleaning Tulsa in 1998 that you’ll remember from your science classes that if you pour sugar or you Brett, you pour salt into cold water, it will fall as a club to the bottom.

[05:28] You can tell this on just an Ed side. When you’re trying to make iced tea, you take your ice tea, porter, your sugar into it, and all falls in Columbia. The bottom, you just fervently shake it and spin it up and try to a mix that in and eventually that sugar will dissolve into the cold water. Now, if you take hot tea and you pour the sugar in the board in slow enough, the sugar bowl actually never hit the bottom because it actually dissolves into the heat of the water as it’s falling all the way down, and that’s where the heat of the water really helps us to dissolve and break down those sugars.
