This is episode three, 28. We are complete carpet. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa us since 1998 I want to talk to you today about, um, being able to get preventative maintenance, preventative ideas that you can do to try to extend the life of your carpet or extend the time between carpet cleanings so you can keep your carpet nice and fresh and all times. Uh, one of the things that’s, um, important I think for understanding the why, uh, when you’re, uh, taking care of your carpet, uh, which we’ve been helping Tulsa and surrounding communities since 1998. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa. Um, is that the, there’s a sources of dirt. A closet for example, um, typically is one of the cleanest parts in the house is because it’s, uh, not a source of dirt. The dirt could come into there, but somebody would have to bring to it. Um, if you’re dealing with, um, say it right in front of it, underneath the couch itself, you moved the couch.

Typically the carpet looks almost brand new underneath or underneath the bed or underneath the dressers because of an area that’s covered and protected from the dirt. Another time you’ll see an area that looks like almost brand new carpet is if there’s been a rug over it for a long time or sometimes there’ll be a desk mat in front of a desk where you’ve got your chair rolling around on it. The edges around it are dirty cause as you walk off of it you’ll start to do. But the hard mat is physically protecting the carpet from getting any dirt in it or on it. A Carpet Cleaning Tulsa. Since 1998 we are complete carpet and uh, we’re talking about getting your carpet and keeping it clean and getting it fresh and new. Again. One of the things that happens when you’re in there trying to get the dirt out of the carpet is that you need to know where the sources to wear, where to try to pull it back and sort of like a budget.

Uh, you need to find out what, where your spending money so you can figure out where you can save it. And so there’s a spending of dirt in your house somewhere. And typically the main areas that we see that originate from would be from the back door because people coming from outside in the backyard picking up dirt there, bring it in from the front door. As people come into the house from the front door, they’ve walked through whatever is outside of the home and they bring in, track it into the home, the, uh, from the garage. Some people parked in their garage and they pull in every now and then as a good tip, all three of these areas, your back door, your front door and your garage, it’s good to take a garden hose and rinse off all of that dirt that is sitting just outside your door. The, uh, sometimes people don’t look at it or think about the fact that even though you’ve done nothing out there, the weather has just blown. The rain has poured. The, a w wind has brought in a dust, animals, critters, birds, uh, things of anything that’s outside of your home has come up and left, um, dirt and debris out in front of your homes. So sometimes by you walking into your home, you’re picking up stuff that you didn’t put there but is already there. So if you take empower power wash that area every now and then you get the help to remove some of those dirt that sitting just outside and all that same note. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa since 1998 if recommended to customers on many times, make sure that you’re washing or cleaning or replacing your entry mats. Sometimes people will put an instrument down and it’s been there since they start lived in the home.

Uh, that Internet, even if you’d never walk on it, is going to get dirty just because of the wind, the rain, the animals or things that happened outside cause it’s in the environment all the time. And so it has, it’s going to start collecting all of the dust and dirt from the environment. And if that thing gets full, think of it like a waste basket. If it gets full though, when somebody comes into the home, they’re going to be picking dirt up off that mat and bringing it in. And so you need to make sure that that is staying clean so that someone comes into your home. Is it picking dirt up off of your entry, Matt? Uh, the other parts are they we talked about the third area’s the garage. Um, when you’re in the garage, if you’re parking your vehicle inside there, you are vehicle has driven across the road to get you to where you needed to go.

Drive also picks up all of the dirt and debris from everywhere that’s driven by sitting in the garage. You’ll get a layer of dust, whether it be brake dust or road grime that will just as you roll into their, kind of lays down and falls onto the ground. And as you get out of your car walk in front door, you’ll pick up some of that dust and bring it into the house. So by sweeping and mopping the garage. Um, it doesn’t have to be every day, but at least once a once every now and then again, go through and just thoroughly rinse it out so you can get yourself back to square one and then start over with a nice fresh garage again. Having a fluffy rug out there will help to capture that dirt. Talking about these three different places, your back door, your front door, and your garage entrance into your home.

Um, all three of those areas, you want to have some type of way. Um, Matt there. Now the mat can be decorative if you want to have it as a design, but most people won’t step on a decorative mat. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa since 1998 I’ve seen many times in studies where people will come and go up to a rug, but they see it as decorative and they don’t want to step on it. They’ll step over. It just naturally looks pretty. They don’t want to mess it up. And so if you get a slightly bigger rug, somebody has maybe three feet by four feet, a little wider that people can’t step over. Um, also, if you get somebody that’s more fluffy, a lot of times people get these really thin hard mats, which on most shoes, it’s the crevices in the shoe that are where it told him the dirt.

So if you’re make a hard math, there’s no way for them to even scuff their feet to get the crevices clean off of their shoes. So when they walk on the fluffy carpet, then that cleans the crevices in their shoes. Uh, so if you have a more fluffy rug and you have it a little bit bigger, a little bit wider, that way it can, uh, pick out and wipe off the dirt that’s in between the treads on their shoes.
