Carpet Cleaning Tulsa | Episode 346

Carpet Cleaning Tulsa | Episode 346

Speaker 1: (00:00)
This is episode three 46 we are complete carpet, carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 uh, one to do a podcast this time talking about, um, the importance of practice and preparation, but also have a proper practice and preparation. Carpet cleaning Tulsa. Since 1988 we are complete carpet to give us a call today at (918) 494-7093. Um, and one of the problems I see a lot of people do is that they believe that they should just do it. And, and I do agree that as you do something you slowly, we’ll get better at it because you have a goal of mine. And so there is a part of a learning curve where through trial and error you do get a little bit better. You try this one so it didn’t quite work. You try it again and he got a little bit better. You try again, you get a little bit better.

Speaker 1: (00:50)
But also sometimes there’s parts of our lives that we’re just doing and we’re not getting better. Um, and we every time we’re not intentionally trying to learn or move from it, you’re like, oh, well I’m just going to get it done this time. Next time I’ll try to learn how to do it right or do it better. I’m just making do. Um, and that’s where the shortcut is the longest way to do things because every time you shortcut something, you’re teaching yourself a way to do it that’s not correct, that has errors in it, that has something. So you’re learning, um, a baseball swing that’s got poor form or basketball shot, um, that can’t be replicated. Um, uh, so many, one hit wonders are like this carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 I’ve seen many. One hit wonders where they come in a one hit wonder can obviously normally talks about a, a song maybe that somebody did, they could produce this one perfect song, but then they never have another hit again.

Speaker 1: (01:47)
But it also applies to restaurants or businesses or endeavors. Anything that we do. Um, I heard it described this way once said that if you walked in and you went to the store and you bought a steak and you just went and grabbed any random bottle of wine off the shelf and a couple of seasonings, you went home and you started to cook the steak, you thought you’d throw it on, um, you cook it in a Pan, but as you’re cooking in the pan, it starts to sizzle and it’s just completely burns one side. Like, oh shoot. So you flip it over because you’re not paying attention to it while you’re trying to make something else on the stove and it burns the other side of it and you’re like, oh, this just isn’t working fine. I’m not going to cook it on the stove because I’m messing that up.

Speaker 1: (02:25)
I just got throw it in the oven and just wait until it gets up to temperature. carpet cleaning Tulsa So you throw it in the oven, wait until it gets up to temperature, and then your guests come over, you pull it out, you cut it up, the guests come over early. You weren’t expecting them, so you had to just pull out of the oven just, Oh, well, I don’t know if it’s ready or not. It’s going to serve it to them and then they eat it. They’re like, oh, it’s perfectly seared on both sides and the way that you blackened it with those seasonings, oh, it just tastes perfect in this wine. It pairs perfectly with this easy and you put on there and the things you should be a chef as a person is like, oh, okay, I’ll, I’ll become a chef. Well, he’s now going to become a chef to make a steak that he had no recipe for and it was an accidental steak.

Speaker 1: (03:00)
He, it was a one hit wonder. carpet cleaning Tulsa It was amazing that he got that one thing done, but it wasn’t because he had all of this knowledge and resources and practice and perfection into trying to replicate it in the same way over and over and over. He just accidentally stumbled into something and can’t reproduce it because he doesn’t have the time and skills put into practicing or replicating that same behavior. Again, carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 we tried to do that with our systems and process to where we clean every house just the same way. That way it does two things. One, um, if there is a problem, you know how to go to step two then and try that. And if that doesn’t work, then you go to step three and step three doesn’t work, then you know that there’s not another step in the Arsenale and do it.

Speaker 1: (03:43)
If you’re just randomly try and stuff on the carpet, there’s no way to know if the process is broken or if the person doing it was incorrect. Like what is the step that needs to be corrected or fixed or changed? carpet cleaning Tulsa And you can keep you do it again and then change it and do it again. And then change, always looking for the result, always judging yourself against what you’d consider to be the best result. And a lot of times we don’t do that. We will do, um, shortcuts inside things to try to get by to side cut. What do we know? Well, yes, of course I should act that way, but right now I’m not going to, or I should have done better quality or put it together, but this time I’m not going to. Well, the problem is that next time you’ve set the precedent now in your life, next time you’re, you should do it that way, but you’ve already chosen before not not to do it.

Speaker 1: (04:28)
So you’re going to get and not do it. And after awhile it becomes ingrained in you that this is how I’m going to do it. Now I’m not going to do it with a smile. If you look at the Dallas cheerleaders, carpet cleaning, Tulsa is in our fiber. If you look at the Dallas cheerleaders, they don’t look for just happy people because just happy people aren’t happy all the time. There’s times where you’ll do something, you have to grimace. They train them to smile all the time to look happy all the time. We call it here at our company being Batman. Bruce Wayne is a different character carpet cleaning Tulsa. Completely. He makes up a persona that he puts on. He stays in character when he wants to be Batman. When he wants to scare the bad guys, he goes out there and he puts on a voice. He puts on a mask, he covers himself up.

Speaker 1: (05:10)
He does it in the shadow of dark. He jumps out of shadows. He does all this specific theatrics. No matter how he feels, he’s not Batman, he’s Bruce Wayne, but he does it so that he can get what he wants and at the end of the day, the Persona Batman doesn’t like people. He doesn’t want to be seen by people. He doesn’t want to hang around with people. He’s not gregarious, he’s not. They’re out there hanging out with a lot of people, and yet the whole purpose of what he’s doing is to protect people as almost like a secret Santa Claus. He wants to protect people, but not be known. It doesn’t want anyone to really know about it. So we hide his identity and completely disappears off the face of the map because he wants to be Batman for that time. So he can do the things that he, the hard things he thinks needs to be done that no one else is willing to do, but he’s not willing to do it himself either. carpet cleaning Tulsa

Speaker 1: (05:51)
It’s not like, um oh like the, you know, superman where he’s physically wants people to know who he is and what’s going on and he’s wanting to hide and try to set off in the shadows so that nobody knows because he created persona. And same thing with the Dallas cheerleaders. They just need to put on a smile and all times because they’re practicing and they practice and they practice having a smile so that when the hard thing actually comes, they react with a smile. It’s not because they’re happy, smiley person is because they’ve taught themselves always smile. They didn’t shortcut the system and say, well, I’ll only smiles. I feel like it. No, I’m just always going to be a smiling person and that way of adversity hits. I’m prepared. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 we are complete carpet.
