And we get fast this all the time. Is this, can this thing be cleaned out? Now on one side, if you’re talking about a stain, you’re talking about something that has changed the color of the carpet. Um, carpet side. We’ve used the word stain and spot interchangeably or a um, this contaminated or these something that’s all in the carpet as something that’s, it could be taken out or cleanable. But the reality is is if you’re just going back to the root side of the stain word, what we’re talking about here, s t a n is that you are working with a, let’s put it this way. Carpet cleaning Tulsa

If you were to take your, some woods sanded down and then stain the wood, would you ask, will this stain clean off? Could I, now that I’ve put the stain on there, can I just wash it back off? And of course the answer there would be no, because you’ve stained the wood, you’ve made the wood a different color. Um, on carpet. I think a better word to use because we just define it differently is, is the carpet died. Um, and so we, you know, sometimes it’s a spot or a stain. And so we have stain removers and those can remove things that have not died. The carpet, the wood realm staying says it is changed, altered the color of the, of the item here on the carpet realm. It, we’ve talked about dying something which makes it different color. Um, the why he not d e obviously we don’t want to kill it when you just want to change its color. Carpet cleaning Tulsa

The same way you do with your hair. There’s things that you’d put into your hair. Uh, like shampoo, Moose, conditioner, um, hairspray. There’s lots of stuff we put into our hair that doesn’t stay at our house. There may be gunky and Yucky and really kind of stiffen up our hair, kind of put some product in it and I could, you know, spill ketchup in my hair. I could spill spaghetti sauce on my, I can wash most of that stuff out. Now if I spilled a, um, a bottle of hair dye in my hair, I have now got that colored hair, uh, carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. A few times my daughters have taken a, uh, like a, a small packet of um, uh, Koolaid, which is, um, a little salt and sugar, sorry, sugar flavor crystals combined with them. I’m just straight food coloring food dyes, so that has it mixes with water and you soak a little part of your hair into it.

You’re now going on that part of your hair’s gonna be the color of the cooler that you put in there. That koolaid gets onto your carpets. Also you’ll have the same problem then too, is that it’s now altered the fibers color as opposed to being something on the fiber. The fiber is just a different color. Now, uh, for example, if I use bleach, bleach can have the same effect on carpet, Carpet cleaning Tulsa This is 1988. I’ve seen this many times where somebody will use and uh, product and not made for carpets to try to clean the carpet with. And if it’s a disinfectant or if it has a, um, something in it that will disinfect the carpet using a bleach based cleaner, any of your bleach based cleaners are going to pull the color out of the carpet over time. And so if you’re sitting there and you’ve cleaned a spot and you’ve not used eight, four, nine is probably one of the main ones that we run into.

Um, but it will, uh, go in there and physically stripped the color off of the fiber. And now some people ask us, can I use bleach to try to remove a slot in? The problem with using bleach to remove a spot is that it will, it will lighten the spot. Sometimes you can get it all the way out, but the problem is you end up with a very bright white spot. And even if you have white carpet that typically carpet is not as white as it is. They dye the carpet a certain level to make it look a little bit more rich, a little bit more luxurious. But if it removes all of the color and off the carpet and will look different than the area around the carpet, that’s more of a cream color or you know, most of the time things aren’t I brilliant, bright white, it’s more of a medium white.

But what I see a nine times out of 10 is some things will affect the color of the carpet, but when you go to bleach it or you use a some spot bleaching area, um, it’ll do two things. One bleached is not neutralized on its own. So we’ll continue to eat up the fiber of the carpet and we’ll continue to break that down to where eventually the carpet fiber just falls apart. I’m secondarily, Uhm, that red spot sitting in your say tan carpet now will be a light red spot cause it has, it has bleached, you’ve used to bleach, it’s lightened, its intensity of, the problem is it lightens the intensity of everything around it too. So everything reduces in intensity in equal measure. So the pink, the red, the dark red spot will then become a medium pink spot and the area around the tans spot will become a light tan boss.

You’ve got a circle of light can circle in the middle of dark tan carpet with a light pink.in the middle of now instead of a dark red dot. So typically in those situations we always recommend not to because it just breaks the carpet down. If the, if it’s not something that can be cleaned out, it can be patched. But if you use bleach it to blue and break the carpet down and if it does get the color out and most of the time it doesn’t really get the color all the way out. Um, I know that sounds a little bit arbitrary, but the reality is is that if you stay in Atlanta chemicals, all those chemicals are designed to work together. So if you’re using a chemical that’s used, this is designed to work together, then you know that you won’t have chemicals that conflict with each other or aren’t supposed to used in conjunction, or that you’re using the same chemical over and over.
