Carpet Cleaning Tulsa | Episode 362

Speaker 1: (00:01)
This is episode three 62 we are complete carpet, carpet cleaning Tulsa is in our fiber. Give us a call today at nine one eight or nine four seven zero nine three and we can help you get on your road to having fresh clean carpets. Again, a carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 has helped us to be able to expand our services and expand our coverage area and continued to increase to help good customers who are in need of getting carpets cleaned. Uh, one of the questions I get asked on a regular basis is, are these the dirtiest carpets you have ever seen? And in 22 years of cleaning carpets, I’ve definitely seen some very extremely dirty carpets, but I’ve always felt fortunate to have the opportunity because I believe that not everybody is as committed to their craft as as we are, that this is an opportunity for me to do something that potentially no one else would be willing to do.

Speaker 1: (00:52)
Sometimes, especially in this day and age, there’s people who don’t believe that certain jobs are worth their time or worth their effort. And if I love the old saying that says that if not me, then who, if you’re in a situation and you’re going to do something, then why not do it to the best of your ability because you’re making a judgment call at that point to say, okay, I would deem this thing as useful or as uh, uh, helpful and I deem best thing as not. Uh, so I will then behave in a, in an appropriate or my best manner for here, but my not hold up to the best of standards when it comes to this situation. And it’s, I think we need to be careful as we go throughout our whole life. Cause the way that we do anything is the way that it will do any everything.

Speaker 1: (01:39)
And I think this is where it’s important in our current society is that what you do in private is practice for what you’re going to do in public. That what I do in private, I don’t show, you know, if you have a Beta testing car, if you’ve got an Alpha version of something, if you’ve got a, uh, you know, building up that next supercar, you’re building up that next product ability to have that next idea, that next painting, you don’t display it until you have it fully finished. You keep working on it, keep practicing on, keep adjusting and changing it so that eventually you would display it. You’ll show it to the public eye. There’s a old verse in the Bible that says that out of the heart, the mouth speaks, but the heart are those hidden things. carpet cleaning Tulsa The things that you’ve dwelled upon, a thought of pound and you’ve thought about it and done it for so long that eventually you gain the courage to finally do it or speak it.

Speaker 1: (02:24)
And so I think it’s super important as we move through our lives to take stock of what are the things I have yet to let other people know about in my life. And um, I was ashamed to let anyone know about it in my life. Maybe I should change it because the only way I’d feel ashamed of doing anything is that I judged it not to be worthy. I think this is a really important points are so many people to do both with employees as an employer or as a customer, is that you need to be taking stock of what you would consider to be worthy in your life and if you don’t consider me worthy again yet you still continue to do it, then figure out, okay, why have I taught myself a pattern? What pattern of I picked up from somebody else, some from something else and what do I need to do to teach myself a new pattern, a new song?

Speaker 1: (03:08)
I love it. My daughter was learning to play the piano and I was talking with her. She goes, Oh, well, I’ve gotten the point that I am no longer playing the piano. I said, oh, really? Do Tell, and she said that I worked to learn the piano piece. I know where the keys are and I’ve memorized the music. carpet cleaning Tulsa I said, but now I don’t play the piano anymore. I don’t have to look at each key and push every key individual. I’m not consciously thinking about it. I’ve taught my body to play the piano. I’ve taught my hands to play the piano and I only looked down if my hands make a mistake. My Body knows the song that I want to play. It knows the tune that I’ve memorized and it starts playing to the point where I can now sing with the song I can sing.

Speaker 1: (03:46)
I’m now thinking about the words that I want to say to sing and my body is playing the notes that need to be played. She goes, I’m not thinking about what the notes are. I’m not thinking about where the keys are because I’ve already taught my body the lesson. I’ve taught my body the capacity to just play that song. And I think that we so many times missed that in our regular life that it’s not that we are making mistakes, it’s that our body is just following through on what we’ve taught in the past and that practice that we did is now coming to fruition and a practice. Sometimes it’s not even something we do. It could just be, I’ve never done this before. And so I’m just going to do it to the best of my ability. Or I have yet to do any research to know what the best way to do this is.

Speaker 1: (04:27)
I am going to copy someone else, I think to be an expert. And how many times did we’ve copied someone that we thought to be an expert, only find out that that person also had no idea what they were doing. They were just making it up as they went along. And so you copied someone else who didn’t know what they were doing. So now you’ve got two people to the old, uh, the blind leading the blind end up in a ditch because neither one can see. And sometimes we have to take stock. Is the source of my knowledge reputable? Is the source of my knowledge, uh, something that I would want to repeat it. Is that person of integrity or does that person have a style there that and do it? And I’ve heard it said this way before carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 that if you take stock of every situation you were in and look at yourself and say, if I was paid or if I was paid more, would I do a better job right now?

Speaker 1: (05:17)
And if the answer is every yes, then you have to stop and say, I’m choosing right now to mail it in. I’m choosing right now not to give my best effort. I’m choosing right now that this project is not worth my best. And if you feel like anything is ever not worth your best that at that particular time, right? Then your choosing to practice inferiority, you’re choosing to practice and give yourself a skill set that says, sometimes I use my good skillset, sometimes I use my bad skill set. And at what point will you have forgotten your good skill set? At what point will you have gone past that which you would consider to be your highest and best because you’re now so content with mediocrity. So, so content with doing average or below average work because you’re starting, your brain will start to just label everything as not worthy, everything as not deserving of your best effort, and eventually you’ll practice it so much. You’ll have forgotten how to give your best effort. carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 we are complete carpet.
