Carpet Cleaning Tulsa | Episode 363

This is episode two 63. We are complete carpet, carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. Uh, one of the things that is, I’ve found through all the years of doing this type of work and, uh, now over 21 years in business is that it’s amazing how much we resist or we don’t want to do the hard thing, the difficult thing, the thing that is gonna require some physical efforts and physical things. But the one thing that you get the most joy from, the one thing you feel the most amazing that is when you finally do overcome whatever that hard thing is. Carpet cleaning Tulsa in our fiber. One thing that we had just happened just a couple of weeks ago and one of our guys drove off of the, um, it kind of an old gravel road and he drove into the grass next to it to try to pull around a car.

And once he did the way to the van, got him stuck in the mud. And of course that’s frustrating because now he’s stuck in the mud and tried to move out of it and try to pull it out of it, try to get to drive out of it and it just wasn’t going to go anywhere. Luckily someone down the street said, hey, I know someone who can help you out. And so this good old boy comes up and he’s got a tractor and he hooked up to the back of the bumper and he tries to pull on it and this is taken, taken 30 to 45 minute long processes. He’s trying a bunch of different things to get that van on stuck and he hooked up to it, put it in dear backing up a little bit and all of a sudden that van finally comes free and as soon as it comes free, oh my goodness.

A sense of relief, excitement, accomplishment. Like there’s just a whole flood of like yeehaw hall kind of a, we got it done, uh, came welling over you. And it’s interesting how the things that seem the most difficult at the time provide for us the longest lasting, most connected sense of accomplishment that now I feel like I really could do even more. Uh, it’s that grind that you do to try to get to the top of the mountain where you, you’ve climbed up, you scaled up the side and points you thought, I just won’t make it or I’m going to give up now and yet you stick to it. You keep going. Um, I love the old saying that says that not giving up is winning. There’s so many times is that people lose, not because they lost, but because they stopped because they quit because they didn’t stay the course.

They didn’t keep going. They keep running the race that was set before him towards the prize, towards the goal. They know that at the end of this thing come hell or high water, I’m eventually going to achieve the goal that I’ve set out to do carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. We’ve had so many times where a customer will come in and have a something they just didn’t think could be fixed or done and they were on the verge of having to replace it. And we came in there and we’re able to take and reset their expectation, reset the focus. And um, sometimes we hadn’t gotten it quite as clean as would like to because carpet is a dyeable stainable fabric. But we did get in there and take a lot of the different ones and they’ll make a big enough turnaround. They were able to keep the carpet or at least make it to where they enjoyed their carpet again.

Um, and that’s our goal and it feels so good after you finish those. If you clean a clean carpet then you’re kind of like, well I just left it the way that already was. But he can get in there and change the carpet that somebody thinks they’re going to have to throw away. And then you put in the hard work and those are hard work. Jobs in the are going to be put a lot of sweat and a lot of time into and a lot of chemical trying to get those carpets clean again. But by the time you get done and get it finished up and you see what it did look like and what it looks like now, um, it can completely change your day. All of a sudden you feel like, man, I could accomplish anything, am I can get this clean, I can clean anything.

And it’s those moments in our lives where we go up against something hard, we go go up against adversity and we overcome and we press through. I think those moments are the ones that really defined what we know that we’re capable of doing. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 I’ve seen so many people that did not know that they could be successful because they had not ever been successful before. And once they get a taste of what it is to be that hard work for reduce effort, the hard work produce effort, the hard work produce effort that you after that cycle of hard work and producing effort, hard work, producing effort, and then getting the goal and having the success, you then take that and apply it to the next thing that you’re going to do. Now you’ve got the confidence, the idea. It’s like the old saying that used to sit that said whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.

And that really boils down to that there is power in your words as power in your thoughts. There’s power in your tongue that out of the mouth, the heart speaks and that sometimes we need to be careful not to watch our words, but to listen to our words to see why is it I believe this way? What is it that has convinced me that these things are not possible? So many times that we will just believe a casual comment. Um, and believe that that’s just not the case. For example, carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 I had a customer who came in, I looked at it and there’s a threshold that was open and exposed tax and the carpet had frayed itself back. And I went up to him and said, you know what, we’re just cleaning the carpet today. At some point in the future if you want, we could fix that threshold so that it no longer had those tax expose.

And he looked at me straight in the eye and said, nope, sorry, that can be fixed. And I’ve kind of thinking inside, I’m a little hurt. I’m kind of a little wounded puppy. And I said, well, I mean, you know, part of me wanting to say, well, I just said it could be fixed. Why? Why would you not believe me? But obviously someone that has more power than me had convinced him that it couldn’t be fixed. So now I went into curiosity side of like, why, why, why is it that you think that this can’t be fixed? And turns out the previous carpet cleaner and told them, you can’t fix that. It’ll just have to replace all the carpet. And it turns out that guy didn’t do repairs. And so here you are. He didn’t want it to suggest that he find another carpet cleaning company that can do repairs because they knew he would, he knew he would lose his customer.

And so he would tell them that something can be fixed just because the guy didn’t know how to fix it. And so I went ahead and got it fixed and they said, oh, thank you. I legitimately thought I was going to have to just be stuck with this. He said, not only do I thank you my feet, thank you, because I’ll never have to have a stab in the bottom of my foot again.
