This is episode three 96. It’s one of those things that we just have to do over and over, Kinda like brushing our teeth. Um, you would like to have a one and done method. Maybe I could just do once and then glaze over my teeth so I don’t have to keep perpetually cleaning it up. But the reason that carpets need to continue to be clean is that, um, unfortunately we end up with, um, Carpet Cleaning Tulsa problems in our carpet that come back because we’re using them. Um, evidently, uh, any place that is used on a regular basis continues to start to collect dust. If you come out in there, if you leave a barn out in a field and just leave it alone and you come back a year later and it will slowly been kind of encroached on by the grass and all the things around it and come back a couple of years later.

And eventually we’ve all seen one of those old barns sitting out on old country road and it has now been completely reclaimed by the environment around it. It is now no longer a, a, um, a free standing building out there. It is become, uh, consumed by nature around it. So anything that’s just left, we’ll slowly like, uh, continued to deteriorate over time. We’ve seen this. You could wipe down a cabinet or let’s say the top of a, an arm war or a table in the corner and nobody uses that table. Nobody touches it. Nobody’s near that table at all. Um, but after about, oh, probably a month, maybe six months, you’ll go in there, right your hand across that table and it’s got a layer of dust on it. That dust and dirt and debris is slowly accumulating across your carpet’s also. Uh, debris continues to kind of go around, dust floats through the air and is continued to um, take and create layers of problems throughout and we can just leave those. They’re not going to hurt anything. But if we don’t maintain the surfaces that we do want to keep, then it will slowly create a, a buildup in the carpets and around. A lot of times people are a little bit, uh, uncertain as to when they need to have their carpets cleaned. Um, and in that case, if you’re taking care of them on a regular basis, good works to make sure you keep everything nice and tidy and keeping stickiness off of the carpet. Then you don’t need us very often because you are going to do the majority of the work yourself and you’ll need us just to come in and take off the top layer of stickiness every now and then. So you’re probably, if you’re being diligent to cleaning out the flooring, uh, which is carpet is just a wastebasket. Eventually we’ll collect, um, dirt and debris. Then you empty that waste basket with a vacuum or with carpet cleaning. Um, then you’ll stay on top of it. And every year or two you’ll need us to come out and rent out the stuff that your vacuum can no longer get or that you’ve tried spot clean, but it’s just been too many spots.

Or you’ve got a pet or an animal that gets in and they unfortunately bring in oils and dirt that just doesn’t come out normally. That unfortunate leaves a mark or a mess that just is more involved. And sometimes it’s good, defined a good relationship or have an opportunity with somebody else to let them do the things that they’re good at so that you can stick to the things that you’re good at. A lot of times it’s considered finding your lane or finding the things that you are going to excel at so that you can save your best, highest and best usage on the things that are going to matter the most to you as a company.

We do not, um, fix toilets. We don’t install light bulbs. We don’t build homes. We don’t repair your car. These are all things that I have the skills to do, but is not something that I am going to go out there and get paid to do because it’s something that I’ve got a cursory knowledge of, but I don’t have a very deep knowledge to where I’d want somebody to pay me to do those that I have accumulated deep knowledge and carpet cleaning so that we would be able to take that, have the confidence to take that off of your mind so that you can focus on the things that you are good at. You know, if I’m meteorically good at plumbing, so I’ll definitely call a plumber to take care of water problems in my home.
