Uh, last time we talked about how soft and it could rechange the hardness of a surface to be able to give you something that’s a little softer. Uh, if you’ve got little kids, you know right away that having just straight concrete floors and a little baby toddler that’s kind of learning to crawl is going to end up with really aggressively rough knees because they’re going across a really aggressive hard surface. You give them a softer surface, it works out better. What we can see this in any type of a floor works, so basketball games, the wood floors that they’re on are softer than a concrete floor.

You typically don’t want to play basketball on a concrete floor. I mean you can, but it really hurts when you fall down. You’re on wood floors. It’s a little softer and if you’re on a basketball court, it actually has a bit of a spring amounts to it to try to negate some of the, you know, the hard hitting impact that happens while you’re running up and down the court or if you fall on the court, that is going to be less damaging to you. Um, same thing with football or either on grass or AstroTurf and they don’t make the AstroTurf to be able to be as hard as concrete. They make the AstroTurf so that it has a softness, a cushiony ness to it so that when you fall or when you’re going through it hits more like soft dirt does as opposed to hard clay.

Um, carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 we’ve seen many people just not quite sure how to use their flooring surfaces. Back in the early two thousands, I saw a lot of people switch and tear all their carpet out and put tile through their whole homes. Uh, came in and did some of the removal and changing of carpets at that time. And almost all of those customers that we had during that time came back and used it as again because they now took all of that hard tile and covered in rugs because they noticed part two parts. First part was the softness that carpet brings. So tile and concrete are nice flooring surfaces, but they also are very stiff. So as you work on them, you know, you drop a plate once and it breaks. Uh, there’s a lot of different things that happened that just are a result of having a more hard and aggressive service.

Now it’s easier if you’ve got little wheelie shoes. Your kids will love the hard surface rack or they can just kind of roll around the whole house. Um, but as far as your just day to day activities or if you’ve got young children or if you’ve got pets or animals and um, it’s just not as soft to get down on the floor or if you’ve got young children or grandchildren to get down on the floor and enjoy sitting there with them. And having a little bit of time to, uh, connected with what it is that you’re wanting to do with them in a way that’s not going to wear you out also in the process. Because to be honest, everybody that deals with, um, things wants to have a more comfortable thing. Kind of the princess and the pea scenario or thought is that you’d have the, uh, capacity to deal or notice any little lump or movement below you because it’s not quite padded correctly.

And so having a good surface, having a good carpet, having a good pad, they used to make the carpet is very dense and thick too because they were the pad, um, to cheapen that costs, you know, so you don’t have an area rug that’s $2,000 for a singular rug covering an area. We now have Patty that we put underneath the rug. So you can have a cheaper, thinner, not quite as plush rug, but then you make up for the plushness by putting them padding underneath the rug. So at deals like a, you know, a one inch thick carpet when it’s only a half inch thick, but it happened in Japan, which is cheap. They put a half an inch of carpet, which is not as expensive as one inch of carpet. Why didn’t you carpet would be tremendously expensive comparatively. Uh, but to the half an inch of carpet you’ll cut the cost in half or a third because you can really thin it out a lot and allow the cushion to come from the padding below and not from the fibers themselves.

Uh, so because of this, you have a lot of people have been able to afford wall to wall carpeting. It used to be it was just a rug or two throughout the house. Now people have rugs in over their entire house because we found a different way to approach the situation, resolve the problem. Uh, comfort. Also style. If you want to change the look of a carpet, the uh, you want to have something that comes up and it will change the entire look of the carpet quickly. Sorry. It changed the entire look of the home quickly. If you change out the carpet in the home, I think carpet and walls are the two things that if you change them, there’s enough styles and things that are placed out there that can allow you to have a huge dynamic range of what it is that you want to experience or do within that space is be able to quickly make a vast difference or one day difference where you can completely change the look and the feel of something.

Take all of your paint. We’ll start with paint. If you take a room, any room you want to, and I painted it. Uh, let’s say, you know, I dark kind of chocolate Brown, uh, probably you’re going to be thinking this is an office as you walk into it or maybe a theater room, uh, at the, I take and paint it blue. Well, everyone’s going to think it’s must be a boy’s bedroom. If you’re going to paint it a bright pink, they’re going to think it’s probably a girl’s bedroom. If I paint it more of a yellow or a color, you’re probably thinking it’s like a kitchen vibe. Maybe a breakfast nook. A sunroom, something along those lines. A lot of times we just paint him straight white so that we don’t have to guess what type of room it is. And I can put on the walls, whatever I want the room to be.

Uh, for a long time when I was growing up in the 80s, wallpaper was a thing. So you’d put some different types of wallpaper that would, uh, kind of match the different feel that you had. I think we all remember having, you know, sailboats along the wallpaper or seashells.
