We talked about how um, carpet is originally as a way to make a DeLorean more soft. Also we’ll talk about in this episode how, um, what is it, what else can it do? How can it retain and trapping, uh, catch dirt. We kind of talked about the very first, um, episode in the series of, it’s about how when the carpets need to be cleaned. Historically they used to just take them and throw them over something and hit them with a stick and that would knock out the dust.

And that is real similar to going into the kitchen and saying, you know what, the trash is full. I have taken trash, I have thrown it into the trash basket and eventually that trash is bull and I need to take it out and dispose of the trash somewhere else. I’m kind of collecting the trash here and then returning it or putting it somewhere different somewhere else. Um, same thing with a rabbit. Or if you’ve got a cat and they’re going into the litter box, then you need to go at some point and take the, um, the collection within the litter box and move it to a different source. It’s not that that’s the permanent destination. You don’t say, well this is the litter box. I was going to hold all of the, um, all of the cat’s collections.

It’s that we want to say we’re going to temporarily collected here is that we can then put it somewhere else and your carpets in your house do that for you. All right? Instead of letting dust and dirt, just slide around and be everywhere within your home. We take time to clean a, collect the dust that comes into the home and then we take it, we throw it back outside the home. Uh, if we do this on a regular basis, then we don’t walk around with dirty feet all the time. We, uh, make sure that we have a system set in place so that our inside of our house looks different than the outside of her house. And so we take and we separate, we kind of organize and we’ll use concrete floors, wood floors, tile floors, carpet, all those different flooring surfaces. Allow us a way to reclaim and keep those things nice and dust free and um, and clean from dirt so that we can then have a space that is more of a sanctuary, a reprieve from what the rest of life throws at us.

I mean, we can go outside and typically we’ve got street sweepers to try to keep the sweets streets clean also. So we want to have this, we love cemetery. We love having something kind of clean. The old sane cleanliness is next to godliness. There’s, I think there’s a bit of truth behind that, that we need to have certain spaces or areas that allow us to do more or to achieve more, feel better by their environment. Same thing with our toilets and sinks and laboratories. I mean, everything that we do, we want to have something that really, uh, makes us feel like we can stay our best and do the dirty or something is the quicker it wears out, the cleaner something is the longer it will last. Same thing with your wood floors, your tile, your concrete, your carpet. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa They all need to make, maintain some level of clean and protection.

Uh, so in doing this, you need to find what is it that really connects with you for how you wanting to maintain these surfaces cause they need to be done on a regular basis. And so we need to find some type of a, a reminder system, some type of an internal compass, something that kind of brings it to our attention. Something we could know about to be able to handle this. And a lot of times we look at it, we know it, but we don’t want to have to take the time and the effort to do it and that’s where hiring somebody else to come in and do it will take some of that effort away. Now of course you’re going to have to set up some time that you’re wanting to meet that person or give them access to your home to do the work in question, but then at least all you have to do is just Joe choose to be there, show up, pay for it, and then you can go on about the rest of your day cause it will then be no that it will be then taken off mentally.

You can hand that task off to somebody else and let them have that task. You go on about the things that you do care about and you’re more passionate about carpet cleaning and Tulsa since 1988 this is a part of what we do is to try to take something off your mental plate while you have that confidence that, Hey, if I tell these people to do this, then I can trust that they’re going to get it accomplished or done. That really help us to be able to maintain and enjoy this carpet for a longer time. Carpet is a bit like a wastebasket, so it does collect dirt and dust and debris. It’s a great surface for that thing. The problem is a lot of people abuse the surface the same way that we’ve used a trashcan and the trashcan will get too full and then we’ve all seen this. Every now and then something will fall. You put it in the trash and it pulls it back out because the trash is already full. It can’t hold anymore and so there’s trash around the trash cans that sits there in a carpet sense. The trash around the trashcan is when there’s dirt and dust. That gets into the carpet, but then it stays there for so long and you walk on it for so long that eventually gets down under the carpet and down into the padding and in the concrete floor below, this happens with your wood floors, your tile and your concrete. Also, it’s just, there’s nothing below it to go to. So it just builds up as piles of as dust bunnies in the corners and you still need to wipe up and clean those up too. But you have to try to do it in a little different way so that you can be able to maintain, but it’s more noticeable.

It’s more tangible right away that, Hey, I’ve got this problem with this carpet, with this flooring surface, and it’s just immediately I can see it because, um, it’s right there in front of you as you walk across, you feel the grit of sand or you’re walking your bare feet and you’re like, Oh, I’m getting stuff onto my, my feet. I can feel it kind of sticking to my feet. I need to do something about it. Or the carpet. Since it’s long. A fluffy fibers allows it to hide a lot more. I’ve had a one type of carpet. It’s really thick, kind of a, looks like a modern day shag. It’s gotten one or two or three inch fibers and I’ve had times where we’ll go to clean it and as we move across it, there are Legos, there are Cheerios, there’s all kinds of little things that are hidden down in that carpet.
