Speaker 2: (19:54)
You also probably show up a little late to work. You show up a little late to things. My parents were like that. A lot of our extended family is like that. We jokingly say are gathering. Yeah, you should just show up 30 minutes late to the gathering cause nobody shows up on time. Uh, so we’re just one of those families that’s just, you know, things are important to us. The problem is that we’re always focusing on some other thing that’s important. Then the thing that we scheduled ourselves for and we’re like, Oh yes, I will get there. But I was so busy doing fill in the blank, sorry I’m running late. Just had these, we’ve all got something everyone every year. I’ll extended time. They always had something that they were busy doing. We’ve all got something that we know well that we should do something different, but we haven’t.
Speaker 2: (20:41)
And so I challenge you today to say, what is one minute of something that you can do differently today and what is two minutes or something you can do a little differently tomorrow. If you just do one minute today and two minutes tomorrow, you slowly start to form the habits that you want. If you don’t form a habit you want, you will. You do have habits, you do have some way of doing it and you’re going to do things by default that other people want. You won’t be doing it the way that you designed it. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa. You’ll be doing it the way that someone else designed it. Love the old saying. It says, if you do not plan your life, somebody else will. So our lives are 24 hours in a day and I could choose not to do anything, which means I will do have to be at the whim or the will of whatever the person around me that’s most forceful demands of me.
Speaker 2: (21:38)
I would like for that to be myself. I demand of myself what it is I would like, but a lot of us end up with a ton of things that are just in place. Not because it’s what we want, but it’s because what we feel like we have to do, we haven’t made the decision to do the things that we want to do. We’re doing what we believe we have to do because we have no choice. So I don’t have time to do the things I want to do because all of the things I have to do and the reason I have to do then it’s cause I have planned what I would like to do. The best life I think that you ever have is the life that you’ve chosen. It doesn’t matter how hard and difficult it is. It’s the life that you said. This is who I want to be. This episode about Carpet Cleaning Tulsa will be brought to you courtesy of everything that you’ve ever wanted to know. For sure. There’s things in life that you try to guess at. Here’s your thing, what is it that I should do next? And sometimes those decisions and ideas aren’t in your best interest perfectly. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa since 1998, we are complete carpet, uh, here on a job site. And I was dealing with a customer who they have just had to move their mother, uh, who is getting up in the ears. And so it’s time for that. They wanted to have the opportunity to be able to move her closer to them down in Texas from up here at Oklahoma. And the, uh, one of the things that they had to do during that process is to sell her home as it came in. The customer told me that their carpets were 25 years old.
Speaker 1: (00:55)
She had had them put in which you had the house built. And then just last, uh, last few years, it’s just been her. But, uh, being an older, retired person, it was just her going around in the house at some point she had a cat, but she’s really not had any pets recently. And to see carpet that has lasted this long, um, very rare for carpet to be able to get to this age with normal wear and tear with kids and pets. Um, not so much to the carpet, can’t handle it. Carpet Cleaning Tulsa like a boss. It’s just that ever, there are so many ticks in a ticker, so to speak, that as you are using something, it eventually gets used up. So for example, if I had a car and I said, okay, on this car, I’m going to drive it, uh, 10 miles every day. That means that at the end of the year, after 365 days, you now have 10 miles every day.
Speaker 1: (01:52)
So you’ve got 3000, 600, uh, miles on your tires. Well, if you’ve got a 30,000 mile tire and you’re only doing 3000 miles per year, that means it’ll take you 10 years, a decade just to wear out your tires, which is a pretty long time. I’ve got a Jeep Cherokee, an old 86 Jeep Cherokee that I rebuilt, put a lot of love and care and attention into. But because it is a very old vehicle, it is not as much fun or it’s easy to drive as a more current modern modern vehicle that has hasty, that always works. That starts the first time you turn it over. Mine’s carborated, it’s got some things, but I built it and put tires on it about 15 years ago and those tires are still on it and have only 8,000 miles of usage on them because I’ve only in the 15 years driven about 8,000 miles.
