I know it sounds really simple, but the reason that we use a hot water, we tried a lot of people call it steam cleaning and that really is more a testament to what it looks like than what it really is.
[01:09] A, we’re not using live steam because if you’re using 200 2,230 degree water, you’re going to break it down the carpet. It’s too hot. Uh, the glues and the carpet would be softened and it wouldn’t be damaging to the carpet and to the steam probably would not get into the carpet anyway. It would go just straight up into the air because it would be so hot. So we actually are using about 160 to a hundred and 80 degree water. Carpet stretching Tulsa So it’s was very hot water. But um, it, when it hits you take that hot water, you hit cool air and it kind of looks like a billow of steam as it comes up because it’s atomizing, it hits the air. But the important part of it is that you don’t want to be using cold water. Uh, a good example that you can connect with us on that.
[01:54] I’ve told customers for 20 years now, carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998 is that if you take the I have to go to wash your dishes and he tried to get butter off a plate and you’re using cold water. You really can sit there and rent almost all day long and the and the mother’s not coming off the plate, but if you change that cold water over to medium water, lukewarm water than the butter kind of will start to melt off a little bit and then you can switch that all the way up to hot hot water, get his pipe piping hot as you can, and you will just all at a certain point. You’ll just see the butter just just almost melt right off of the plate and you can clean the entire butter plate with just using water, hot water without having to use any soap or anything.
[02:36] You could clean it off their plate with cold water and soap, but it’s smears around it. It’s just so difficult to do. Whereas you bring the temperature up high enough, eventually it just dissolves into the water. The same thing for your sugars, if you remember as a kid when you’re in your science class, they would go in there and you would take, uh, take some sugar or assault and he’d pour it into a cold beaker and all the salt and sugar. We just fall to the bottom and then you take the beaker and you heat it up and get the water up to a boil and then pour the salt and sugar in and it would dissolve before it ever hit the bottom because it melts and dissolves into solution much faster. On a real practical scale. A one that you can do as your own little home experiment that we probably do every few days, every few days, average Americans doing any way, whether you’re a coffee or a tea fan, even hot tea or hot coffee Carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998.
[03:25] I’ve given this example many times. The next time you have your hot tea or hot coffee and you pour the, um, you want to add your sugar to it to make it a sweet tea or sugar, to take that bitterness off the coffee. If you put it into a cold coffee or a cold tea and ice, all the sugar falls down to the bottom and you have to fear furiously stirred up trying to mix all that sugar into the drink. Whereas trying to get that sugar to dissolve. Whereas if you have a cold cough, a hot coffee or hot tea, as you pour the sugar in, um, it will dissolve almost as it before it hits the bottom of the thing. You have to just turn it two or three times and it all is melted off right away. And so that’s the same exact reason that we use really hot water in our cleaning is because it will help to break down the oils and the sugars in the carpet.
[04:13] Those are typically the two things that are difficult to that you cannot get out with your vacuum and then you have a hard time spot treating out because typically you can’t get the water hot enough as you’re spraying it or renting it by hand to be able to break down oils or breakdown of sugars. Carpet stretching Tulsa So that’s where you need a professional could power to get that taken care of. Now, one of the other parts that is important with hot water is that it also decreases but drying time. And so when you use cold water to draw to clean with, um, it will stay wet longer because it doesn’t evaporate as quickly as hot water does. So by cleaning with 180 degree water as we’re renting it out and we’ve dried it out, then the, uh, the water that’s left in the carpet actually evaporates off quicker.
[05:01] Then if you had cold water. So it actually will decrease the amount of time in the carpet stays damp or wet. And that also will increase the quickness that the carpet of water that the dirt in the carpet will read through and break free carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998 had lots of experience and lots of time where we got in there. And we’re able to make these types of alterations and changes to somebody’s cleaning schedule. And it makes a huge difference. Or advising people to start using really hot water when they rent or they try to clean up a little spots and stuff on their carpet and all of a sudden they start seeing a turnaround of the, of how much they can get out of the carpet by themselves as opposed to what they were doing before. I’m also the same thing kind of holds true if you try to wash your hair and cold water, if you try to wash it with hot water of almost everything that you do, whether it be renting or cleaning or washing, the warmer the water, the faster the reaction, the warmer the water, the better the cleaning.
[05:57] And so we want to try to make sure that everything goes through it easily and smoothly for each job that we do. It also helps to improve the efficiency of the priests spray, but we can get into battle. And another episode, we are complete carpet, carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998.
