Or you can find us on facebook@facebook.com. Forward slash complete carpet. Uh, one of the things that we wanted to talk to you about today is carpet beyond just the carpet cleaning that we can do for you and the repairing and the restructuring is the tile cleaning. And we both do both residential tile cleaning and commercial tile cleaning. For your residential side, we typically do kitchens and dining room areas. Your entry areas is normally the areas that get the most amount of dirt and you also get a buildup of this buildup. Typically comes because, uh, for an average person they get out there and they will do a mop or they’ll sweep the tile and then every now and then they’ll do a mop carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998. One of the things I see the most often is that people go through and just do a chemical mop, uh, with either a mop and glow or some type of chemical that they use to go over the syllabus.

Take, let’s just say a five percent solution into a, a gallon of water. And they’ll take that soapy solution and they’ll go through that mop over the tile, which this kind of softens up and breaks up the dirt and then they kind of spread it around and get up as much as they can. So you’ve got about a five percent soapy solution lane across your tiles and then they’ll rinse them off out and they’ll get another bucket of clean water and they then do the exact same amount of rents over the tiles. And so they do completely clear waters. You’ve got 100 percent clear water that you rents across that tile and do one Passover. And they typically don’t use any more water than they choose to do on the soapy water. They use the same quantity of water with the clearwater Ritz though, they’re not really renting as much as they are just taking a wet mop with fresh water and going over the soapy part.

So what this does is just cuts in half the amount of soap that’s on the floor because they’re diluting it and mixing this fresh water into the soapy solution. So now you’ve got maybe a two percent solution left on the tile floor that then dries out. Now this doesn’t really affect the tile that much because it’s only two percent soap. So it’s very light. It’s it’ll break down over time. But the problem happens on each subsequent time that they cleaned the tile. Again, carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998. I’ve seen this many, many times through the years where somebody will then go through and use a five percent click, a cleaning solution again to mop the floors. And so that five percent mixes with the existing two percent that’s already laying on the floor. So now you got a seven percent solution and then they rinse it again, cutting in half.

And now you’ve got a three and a half percent solution. And then they added another five percent solution a month later and now you’re up to nine percent. And then they cut it in half. Now you’re down to four and a half percent. And so it pretty much goes up about a percent and a half every time you mop the floors. And so one year, in two years, in three years and five years in, you now have a pretty heavy soapy solution that’s really collected a lot of grease and dirt and grime sitting down and locked into that grout line and so you mop over the top of it and it just. You’re using soap to try to break down soap and you just can’t get it out and you’ve got these black grout lines with a lot of built up grime and dirt sitting down in it that are kind of embedded themselves into the sticky, dried out soap that’s left on the grout lines.

Sometimes it also could just be because you’ve used to strong of oils. Something spilled, butter’s got on the floor, maybe somebody spilled a Dr pepper or an orange juice. Something had gotten down there and it just created two sticky of a solution for cold water mopping to really get it free. And so where we can come in is that will come in and help. The part that we can do the most at carpet stretching Tulsa is that our fiber, and we’ve done this for over 20 years now, is that will come in there and put down a good tile cleaning solution and physically go through and scrub all the grout lines. We use a hot water and our presoak that we’re putting that to a clean solution down on the floor with and then we go through and physically scrub all those grout lines to get in.

Because grout is just unsanded concrete. It’s got a lot of little rough pits. If you took your fingernail and rubbed it against the ground, it would be like a nail file. It would just grind down your nail off because it’s a very rough porous surface and so all of that soap, all of the dirt and debris that’s been in that’s been mopped over that top of that tile for all these years into those grout lines has sit down and all those little poor. So you have to use a physical rough brush to physically get in there and scrub and break that stuff up. And then that allows it to soak in it and it’s a real similar to getting dried on spaghetti onto a plate. You can grab a brush and try to just start scraping that spaghetti off, but it’s going to be really difficult because it’s dried on spaghetti, but if you take some really hot water and a little bit of dawn and let that soak for 60 seconds on top of that plate, then it becomes a.

It gets it back into solution again, but it still won’t just fall off the plate. You’re still gonna have to use a little bit of a vegetable brush to kind of break that up and so that’s the general process that we’re using to break up that dirt in that tile. Now you can go through and scrub it, but you won’t have any effect or any difference in effect than your regular mopping cycle if you only scrub it alone. So we get in there scrubbing it, get it all broken up, but then you have to quickly come in with a huge amount of water. On a typical kitchen, we’ll use 20 to 40 gallons of water in hot steam, rinsing of the tile to completely flush out all the dirt that’s there, but then it also to make sure that we rinse off all of the buildup of chemicals, cleaning chemicals that have been on that tile for all those years, and a typical tile cleaning. Once done professionally is good. It resets you back to zero again and really have another three to four years before you’ll need to have a professional cleaning done. Again.
