00 Great. This is episode 285. One, eight, four, four, seven, zero, nine, three or find us on the web, a complete carpet, Tulsa.com. One of the things that I think is important while getting your carpets cleaned is to know what the process will be like. A. We get asked this question many times. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of people out there who have had a bad experience with the carpet cleaning professional people who either don’t know what they’re doing or have not done enough work yet or didn’t invest the right amount of time or research or effort into their craft to be able to properly prepare to get your carpets cleaned effectively.
03 One of the ways I see this the most often is people will ask a simple question, do you actually have a truck mount to the unit? I am surprised at the number of people out there who wants to get your carpets cleaned and they come out to clean your carpets and they bring a rug doctor that you can rent from home depot or lowe’s and they have potentially just rented that unit. I remember one customer actually told me that the first came out. You could tell them a little side that it was the one that you rented at Walmart because it had the little tag from Walmart Audit, and so here he is coming to clean professionally clean your carpets and he’s using equipment that you can just read off the shelf. So you’re pretty much not going to get any better service or a capacity for cleaning, then you would have just done it yourself Carpet Stretching Tulsa.
50 And so this is a big issue, I believe, for a professional that should be coming out, that you’re going to be paying good money, that they should have equipment that far exceeds what you can do yourself. Carpet Stretching Tulsa us is 1998. We have always made sure that we maintained good high end equipment because that really is what sets you apart from the other, uh, from what it is that somebody could just do in their own home. And honestly, those little small units almost always make the carpet really smell bad. And they sour the carpets, they leave them too wet too. They stay wet for too long of a period of time. Um, and you just end up with a lot of problems and they don’t get all of the dirt out of the carpet. Um, it’s a lot like the dry cleaning methods. A small unit like that.
36 They get the carpet’s wet, they move the dirt around, they dilute the dirt down, but they don’t remove the dirt out and so it’s really important to have a lot of suction, that really good power, a lot of heat and a to be able to really thoroughly rinse. This carpet stretching tells us insight to 98. My favorite analogy is a washing your dishes. Cleaning your carpet is a lot like washing your dishes, at least the way that we here at complete carpet address the cleaning of your carpet. We follow the general thought logic of your dish washing process. You could grab a dish, a dry dish and grab a sponge or some soap on it and just immediately start trying to scrub all of the dry down spaghetti or dried on food and debris that’s on the late to try to just immediately scrub it off, but you’re just going to be running in circles because a lot of that stuff won’t break down until it’s either got hot enough like try to use a sponge to scrub off butter, butter off of a plate.
37 It’s just, it’s going to smear all over or it needs to have the right amount of soap or soaking time to go to reconstitute it and get it back into a liquid form. Again, a real easy way to imagine this is any type of dried food that you want to do, like backpacking or camping food that it’s just sitting there as a brick, like a ramen noodle brick, but if you add it to hot water and give it some time, it’s going to soften up and it’s going to become something that’s very easy to manipulate use. Uh, so in our carpet cleaning process, we start off by priests praying or pre treating the carpet. This is important because you need to break down the water tension of the carpet. Everything naturally is dry and so it’s going to repel a little bit of water or it’s going to take a little bit before the water absorbs into the fiber Carpet Stretching Tulsa.
24 And so if you get the fiber damp at first, then things will be able to read through the fiber and not just written off the fiber. Secondarily, you want to use a little bit of a detergent or a soap, something that that’s going to break down the, uh, the, the oils and the grease and the sugars that are sitting in the carpet. Um, and then thirdly, you need to be able to have something that can extract or bring that thoroughly, rinse that back out. And that’s where our process is different than a lot of the other process out there. Even the small little problem with a small rug, doctors are a little units is that they may put the brake, you know, put some water down, they put some stuff to break down that stuff, but they never were extracted back out. Or a lot of the dry clean processes where they put the chemicals down, they buff it in, but they rely on your vacuum vacuum later to try to suck out whatever chemicals left in there.
14 So there’s never a thorough read. There’s nothing that’s going to leave. It just thoroughly pulled out, sort of like your hair. Your hair is a lot like the fibers in a carpet. So when you really want to get a good thorough wash of your hair, then you get your hair wet, first it inputs some shampoo, end to break down all of the dirt and the oils and the grime has got into your hair as you’ve gone through the day, and then once you’ve let that set soak in there and really break it all down, then you just go through it thoroughly, rinse it through with a lot of water, and you can take a cold, cold water shower and that works at times, but your hair rinses out that soap rinse out. He been here three, four times faster. If you use hot water, same thing with washing your dishes. You could use a cold water to rinse your dishes off, but it’s really, especially with oils and greases, difficult to try to get stuff off your plate, but if you switch that handle over to the hot side, all of a sudden it just rent is right off.
