Carpet Stretching Tulsa | Episode 287

Carpet Stretching Tulsa | Episode 287

00 This is episode 287. We are complete carpet, carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998. This is our. In this podcast we’re going to be talking about the importance of continuing on the importance of suction from the last podcast. Got tied up in the pre spray discussion and, and didn’t really get over to the ports of suction Carpet Stretching Tulsa is in our fiber. We are complete carpet. We’d love for you to give us a call today at nine. One eight, four, nine, four, seven, zero, nine three or find this on the web@completecarpetTulsa.com. Uh, one thing that I believe is important on every job or everything that you do is that you have the capacity to one break down what you’re doing as the last two podcasts. We were talking about the importance of a pre spray and was using detergents and be able to break down the different things that are in the carpet that, uh, uh, there that need to be softened up, reconstitute to get back into solution.

55 But if you don’t remove it, if you don’t have a way to remove it, then you’re just diluting it. And this is important. This reminds me of when we were kids, I think we’ve all had a brother or sister or maybe we are guilty of it ourselves, where you were told to eat something and there was a large pile of it and so you ate a little bit of it and you realize, I really am not going to finish this. So you, you think you’re going to use the, uh, the super smart trick. I mean they’re going to do one and two things. One, I’m going to take some of it, kind of slip it into a Napkin and kind of just, it’s still there. It’s right next to my plate. I just kinda hit it under the Napkin or you do the other side of, you know, you’ve got a big pile of potatoes and you kind of mash them down to where they’re like a quarter inch thick.

36 And then you spread it all across your place. It’s just like really thin flat layers. It looks like you’ve eaten more that have really, you’ve just spread it around the place, so the whole place kind of just this flat level of coding, of, of mashed potatoes all over the plate instead of one big pile. So it looks like you’ve eating more than you really thought you had and a lot of carpet cleaning. That is exactly what they’ve done. They’ve just gone through and just power rinse the carpet with a lot of water to kind of dilute the spots so the spots aren’t really concentrated, but all the carpet still looks dingy as still as a layer of thing because now you’ve not, you’ve ever removed these stores, you’ve just kind of spread it out. Some. Um, a lot of the dry cleaning processes are the same way.

15 They’re just like this where they’ll come in, they’ll put a powder or spray down a chemical. They use a bonnet or they’ll specifically rub it in, rub it around to break down the dirt so that it averages out. But then they never really thoroughly remove it. Now I’m not discounting the process. It is necessary for certain rugs that are natural fibers that need to be able to be taken care of and cleaned up and in a way that is not, does not have any water, so that they do not yellow or they do not have some changing fibers to them, but all your modern carpets, even if you do use a dry, clean method, they all have all the chemicals that are used. They all say that after the fourth or fifth time, you need to use a water based rinse method, a steam cleaning to be able to remove the residue of all of the chemicals that were used to clean with.

01 I think we all, uh, the older generation, my generation and older Carpet Stretching Tulsa since 1998. I have seen many times in the past where they have the leave in or the dry shampoos, which we’ll get in there. They’ll break down the oils in your hair. It kind of bonds to the, um, the chemical, the, uh, that’s in the things for the candlelight catalyst Asian to kind of crystallize it. And then you just brush out all of the, uh, the oils and debris and dirt in your hair and it Kinda just comes out that way. But if you just use that everyday, a, your hair is going to get pretty gunky because it’s gonna be a buildup the product, so that still left in your hair. And so that’s where it’s important to have a really good, thorough, hot renting system, but the most important thing.

47 But what about all the talk that we’ve been going through so far is that you need to be able to remove the contaminants. You need to be able to remove the chemical that you use. And having a really strong deep suction is the key part to that. So after you’ve gotten it broken down, carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998, we are complete carpet. And after you’ve got that broken down and after you’ve got it into solution, you’ve got it all warmed back up. Now you need to be able to have enough suction to lift out the dirt, the debris and all of the water and moisture that you put into it and be able to suck it back into the tank and so we will just thoroughly rent on an average house. We go through anywhere from 40 to 50 gallons of water thoroughly rinsing that carpet and with that much water you would assume the carpets, it would take an immense amount of time to dry and typically they only take about four to six hours on an average dry time.

39 And so we leave such a small amount of moisture in the carpets themselves that they’re able to dry quickly, honestly, probably faster than your bath towel does. After you’ve taken a shower and you dried off and you hang that towel up, it can take probably six to eight hours. So that title towel to dry just hanging there. So your carpets, it would typically be dry in the same amount of time, if not less. Um, and it can even increase that time, decrease that time. I just adding some air flow or a heating it up or putting a ban on it. So if you just naturally leave it alone, it’s going to dry on its own. We are complete carpet, Carpet Stretching Tulsa is in our fiber. We’d love to talk with you and connect with you and see what we could do for you today.

17 Um, we actually use a, one of our machines, what they call a direct drive unit. And so it actually is used as the power of the van. Another one of our machines has its own motor and so it, these are large three low blowers that have the capacity to pull a full 15 inches of mercury a. I know it’s a lot of jargon, but what that means is that it has the capacity of pull back out anything that we put in. And so that’s important because you need to have enough power. If you took a little shot back, um, and you tried to suck something out up with it, as long as you have a five foot hose, you’re going to have that maximum amount of suction is going to do just fine. I think of yourself sucking on a straw. You can get a pretty decent amount of suction, get all the liquid out of your drink, but if you go and you grab 100 foot garden hose and then put that in your drink and then tried to suck through the for garden hose, your lung power is just not, not a great enough to be able to suck and use a 100 foot garden hose as a straw.

12 The same way a little shot back is unable to use a hundred foot hose to be able to suck through. You just destroy the suction. The suction will drop down to almost nothing. Um, whereas having a large, big machine really makes the difference. Carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998. We are complete carpet. Give us a call today at nine.
