Uh, so what one thing that we can do though a lot of people don’t realize can be taken care of, is that your carpet is, um, when it’s installed, it is one big roll of carpet.
00:55 The carpet comes from the factory 12 feet wide and it can be up to 150 to 200 yards long. So hundred $50. They’ll say it’s 200 yards long. Yard is three feet, so you can have 600 feet linear feet that’s 12 feet wide. Now in your house, your house does not fit is not 12 foot wide and along. Now you had a 12 foot wide mobile home and it was just 100 feet long. It was just straight. Then you could use one piece of garbage, just unroll it all the way out. You have no seams anywhere, but an average home is more like a square or a box and it’s more 50 slash 50 or 70 by 70, and so you’re going to have to take a lot of pieces of carpet and seem them to the other pieces of carpet to create a patchwork quilt that covers the whole house Carpet Stretching Tulsa.
01:41 You always want to use the same carpet from the same bolts so that all of the color matches because each piece roll of carpet that has made comes from what they call a dialogue. Now the dialogue means that that’s for this roll of carpet. They mix up one big batch of dye and they died that carpet, that color. Now they do repeat colors and uh, but each time they make up, mix up the batch of dye, it has subtle variances to every single run and so even sometimes on the front of a bolt of carpet to the back of the bulk of the carpet, you don’t want to take the first cut off of the bolt and the last cut off the bolt seem to do together because there could even be a color difference between when they at the beginning all the way to the end.

All of the repairing that we do follows this exact same procedure and the same type of seam tape, the same type of glue, the same type of cuts that your carpet was used to be installed originally. So all of the seams and all the ways that the carpet was put together that we will replicate that exact pattern so that when we do a patch, it stays there and we repair a seam. One near a dog gets trapped in, in a bedroom and tries to dig its way out from under the door. 03:45 Uh, one thing I’ve run into often is dogs that just for whatever reason decide they’re going to just pull all the little fibers out of the carpet and the great this one little bald hole in the middle of the living room. So the whole living room looks great and now you got one mall, the whole ruining the whole look and aesthetic of your room. And this can be repaired and fixed. You also don’t have to live with exposed tack strips on the edge of the things where the carpet is frayed or come back and is no longer up to the edge. I’m no longer covering your transitions. 04:37 Some people don’t have some of the existing carpet they haven’t held onto it or don’t still have it, so what we can do in that case so that we can go to the closet and in the corner of the closet we will cut out an exact match of that shape and then put the good piece of carpet into the main area. Shouldn’t be able to fit a dime between any of the scenes or any of the things that you need to cut this exactly, so take the little bit of work and takes a little bit of form and function and training to be able to really get this done right and once you get that all put in there properly, do you then take and use carpet glue you actually put down seam tape, Scott Nylon fibers woven into it and do you then receive that piece back in just like the original carpet with seemed him and he goes through a new glue.
05:28 All of the areas around you. Make sure it’s down thoroughly into that glue.
