Carpet Stretching Tulsa | Episode 312

Carpet Stretching Tulsa | Episode 312

01    This is episode three slash 12, and we were talking about Carpet Stretching Tulsa is that our fiber, uh, like to cover the importance of maintaining, of vacuuming your carpet here at complete carpet, Carpet Stretching Tulsa since 1998. We’d love to get in touch with you and talk to you about, um, your carpet maintenance needs. Give us a call at nine. One, eight, four, nine, four, seven, zero nine, three and a vacuum. Your carpet is very important, as we talked about in previous podcasts. That dust is the universal sandpaper. Um, anywhere that you get, dust or debris lands on something. Then you step on it, walk on it. I’m run across it. Dogs go across it or whatever is that moves across that boring or surface rubs that dirt into the, uh, into the surface. And it now scar it. Margaret started to scratch it and take some of the shine away.

56    Take some of the luster away from that. A carpenter, you want to try to get that dust off and now the dust can just sit on the carpet all by itself. As long as it’s never walked on, it won’t cause any harm, but each time you step on it, those, each, that friction, the walking that you do will slowly start to break up and breaking down the coatings that are on the carpet to the fiber of the carpet itself to kind of lose it. Shines. Kinda like taking a window and scratching it with sandpaper. If you just do it enough times, eventually it gets foggy and you can’t see it through it very well. It’s not clear and smooth like it normally as carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998. We are complete carpet. And uh, one of the things is important in this process is vacuuming a entry mats are also very helpful because anywhere that you could have dirt that enters your home, these are your, what’s called your wastebaskets of your home for dirt.

49    And at some point that wastebaskets going to get full. And kinda like if you had a waste back in the basket in the kitchen, if you go to throw a piece of trash in it, it’s already full of trash is not going to stay in the waistband. He was going to fall next to it and I’d be just keep adding to an already full wastebasket. You’ll just keep spreading around it and that’s the same type of thing Carpet Stretching Tulsa. You will see a in your areas that you’re a dirt sources. Start at, you’ll see that they start off a little bit dirty, right at the edge of the carpet or as you first come into the front door, the back door maybe from the garage and that area gets a little bit dirty. And then you’ll see I’m like another foot in is now a little bit dirty and the use a kind of a big fan shaped path as it slowly creeps farther and farther into the house as you bring new dirt in.

32    And then you pick up the dirt that’s already there and walk it in farther. And so every time you walk across that carpet without removing the dirt that’s already there, it keeps spreading and getting farther and farther into the carpet. And this is why your first view, five to 10 feet of coming into a carpet is normally worn way more than all the rest of the carpet. Um, it does have a little bit higher percentage of traffic, but the type of traffic that’s there is the grittiest San Diego, and so what we have recommended to our customers, carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998 for 20 years. We’ve recommended customers spend every other day, spent about 90 seconds vacuuming the first five to 10 feet of a dirty areas into your home, into your carpeted areas. It’s good to do this also in your title here at Florida areas though.

18    You probably need to do those daily because that small grit grime to really build up and be more obvious on hard surfaces than it does on soft surfaces. Soft surfaces. There’s more places for that. Dirt dust to kind of fall in between the fibers and drop out of sight or is on hard floors. Hard surfaces. That grip grime is more evident to more easily seen right there on the top of the surface. A Carpet Stretching Tulsa since 1998. We are complete carpet and we’d love for you to give us a call and they’ll find out about other things that we can do to help you. Uh, what are we talking about today? Is the getting your carpets a regularly vacuumed or something you could do as a maintenance procedure for yourself, a little dock out the, uh, the dirt and the incoming sources of dirt coming into your house home.

09    They able to capture that with your vacuum, suck it back out of the carpet so it doesn’t continue to spread and where the carpet down. Uh, one thing that’s important in doing this is I’m making sure that your vacuum is in good working order. There’s two filters and all vacuums. There’s one filter that’s picking up and grabbing all of the dirt and debris. And that’s typically on the bagless style. It’s the canister that sits there that you can open up the bottom of and just drop all the dirt out. Um, and then there is the filter that filters the air that comes out of the vacuum. And this one is the one that most people forget about or have never been told about it. All the person selling the vacuums or the story of audit from doesn’t have a sign up to let you know that there’s a air filter in the vacuum Carpet Stretching Tulsa.

52    Typically it’s underneath the canister where you suck the debris up, the debris come visit top and down at the bottom where the air goes back out. There’s either a big foam filter, there might be a pleated filter that might be a little bit, uh, pleaded. Plop something in there like you need to be washed or replaced. And some of them have a little slide out tray. Some of you take the canister out and the bottom of it’s a big foam disc, but however your it’s set up, you need to make sure that you get in there and you remove that, clean that on a regular basis. Otherwise you’re vacuuming is only as good as the Eric and blow out of it. A lot of times we think of them as suction and this is true, but you can only suck so much if you went and grabbed a straw.

31    You would suck through the straw, but a certain point you’d stop. You couldn’t suck anymore because you in hailed are you sucked in as much as you can hold without having to let something out and so all vacuum the same way. They can only suck in as much as they can let out, so if there’s not a clean path to be able to let out the air that is being sucked into the machine, then it won’t suck anything in. It just it’ll just get really hot. And if you ever use your vacuum and it smells warm or if you use your vacuum and you can smell whatever you’re vacuuming up, that means your filter is getting dirty.
