We also have online scheduling available from our website where you can see our schedule, they’ll get yourself booked right away at our next available opening. And to continue on this uh, episode series about keeping your carpets in good shape. I’ve been covering all of the different things that you can do or all the things that need to be done to try to keep your carpets in good health.

[00:46] And, uh, one of the things that we started off with was carpet stretching Tulsa, is that our fiber? We start off with carpet stretching tulsa. I wasn’t easy making sure that your carpet say flat, they stay tucked in, they just stay tucked down. I do have a good carpenter installed properly the first time, or did they stay installed properly? That’s how you get it right off the bat is that you’re wanting to maintain those carpets. A secondary thing would be maintaining your dirt sources stuff. Ways that dirt can get in, try to limit to the amount of dirt that gets in if he’d ever walk on your carpet, never needs to be cleaned. Um, another part is if you get in and you’re, I’m going to be able to say it takes the wear pattern, the wear areas, like a down a hallway or in front of the chair, uh, around a dining room table. Carpet Stretching Tulsa.

[01:30] If a button at the bottom carpet maybe, uh, as you walk into the home or you come into the garage or committed to the back door, um, all, every different areas that you may have to build a trap that dirt. It’s kind of like a wastebasket for your dirt. And your home is your entry areas. Carpet stretching Tulsa. Since 1998 has shown us many times, uh, the importance of vacuuming because grit and dirt sand the reason you do all of these different preventative maintenance and preventative things to gail to keep that grit and dirt off of your carpet so that the sand is not grind in there and cause a temporary or permanent damage to your carpet, uh, you wanna be able to back him on a regular basis, could, if that dirt gets down into the backend of your carpet and then we’ll color your palate, it’ll make it so that area’s looking darker and gray or even at the carpet itself is clean. Carpet Stretching Tulsa.

[02:17] The backend of the carpet’s dirty. And uh, so you want to stay on top of, activated up so that you don’t force all of that dirt down into your carpet really deep. You want to be able to keep it out on a regular basis. Sometimes it can be reversed it and fixed over time, but normally once it really gets down and embedded in that back, there’s not a whole lot you can do for it that a carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998, one of the next thing that we talked about is when you have things that just can’t be vacuumed out and you want to be able to do a little bit to try to maintain your own carpet. If you can get on top of different skills and products right off the bat, a lot of times you can be able to fix it right away if you spill, even if you still paint and carpet.

[02:58] If you slowly and consistently rented out, um, you’d be able to remove all of that paint. But if you let it dry, the manufacturer’s going to give it a 10 year warranty and it’s going to be in there pretty much permanently. You’ll have to patch it out. Another thing that also comes along with you’re trying to, uh, uh, get things out is that you don’t want to use too much water. It’s probably the number one problem I see people run into as they’re working is that they take and they pour water over a spot, pouring water on the spot, spreads the spot because yeah, you put more water than there is spot and this spot has to grow with the amount of water that, or you pour the water in the middle of the spot and the water goes straight through the slot, through the back of the car, but ended the pad below and now you’ve made that spot very deep and then it will just keep coming back because now it’s, it may, it may have gotten rid of some of the spot, but it’s gotten rid of it by putting it down into the pad and the backing. Carpet Stretching Tulsa.

[03:54] Uh, another part that’s important is to be able to use a light sprain and blogging method where you just spray it, stand on a towel on top of the spot, just soak it back up, spray it down, towels, soak it up. Or you could use a smoke corbit clearance or a, a, a, a, a shot back, uh, to be able to do the sucking up and cleaning parts of it to a carpet stretching Tulsa since 1998. We are complete carpet and a part that we’ll get to in these next five podcasts is where we’re going to be talking about what we can do to help to clean your carpets when you get to the end of your rope. What can we can do to help you? Um, so we’ll go back over the last steps of staying on top of a spot and cleaned up stuff yourself, is that you run into a, having a time where you’ve got, let’s say you’ve got something that’s greasy and so you get in there and try to rent out as much as you can, but it’s just not rented out because it’s.

[04:51] The water won’t break it down. Now, whatever you do, always make sure you use the hottest water as possible because the heat of the water makes a huge difference in the dilution of the stuff that you got. And they want to be able to break that down as best you can, um, you want to build it a rinse it out as much as you can, but eventually you’re going to rent out stuff and nothing’s going to happen because it just won’t dilute with water that they needed to use a very small amount of product. In this case, you want to use a, a, a, a degreaser. If you’re dealing with a grease, something that’s going to cut that grease and maybe a little bit of a solvent, you want to use it very sparingly because anything you put into the carpet, you’re gonna have to reach back out.

[05:32] If you put a bunch of soap into the carpet, you’re going to have to rent all that self back out. Uh, so you want to make sure that you just, just enough to break down. So I’d use it a little bit, rinse out where you’ve used it a little bit more risk that, what you’ve used just enough to break down that spot to make it into water solutions that you’d be able to get it rinsed back out. Um, and then you want to make sure that you use a sufficient amount of drawing. You may even go as far as to put a fan on that area to help it to speed up it’s dry process because if it stays wet for too long or it takes too long to drive, it then can become an issue with the carpet, with the lamination or breaking down or smelling off or having problems in that way.
