Then you get these dark traffic paths that even when clean, they still look dark because once you’re backing up, your carpet is white and once you get dirt that gets through the fibers of the carpet and down into the back end to give kind of a impregnated. It gets really packed into that backing. Then even if we clean the fibers off the top, the canvas behind the fibers that you can see through is now discolored and dark. So let’s say for example, I want to make a painting and I’m going to do the painting of a white dress. Now I do the painting of that white dress on a black canvas. [03:26] If I do the canvas and I want to paint a white dress on a white canvas than it will look absolutely pure snow white. And the reverse is true. If I wanted to create a black night scene, but I want to do it over a white canvas, then that black night scene is going to be gray and it’s not going to be a full, sharp dark dress black. I’m going to need to do a black canvas to make a dark night seeing because the color of the cab is going to bleed through darkening everything up. And the same thing happens with the carpet, especially in the commercial traffic areas. I’m letting a process get too far and so we can get in there, make all the fibers plain and good again. But sometimes certain things have just gone beyond. I’m bringing it back to restoring it all the way back to new standards. So we’re gearing it to like a good standards. Um, so if you’ve had carpet for five or six years and never cleaned it, once, we can bring it back to where you can enjoy the carpet again, but we’re not going to get it back to like a new standards. Um, and so that’s why it’s important from right at the beginning. As soon as you get something to start maintaining the best health you can, you can slowly reverse some of the damage or you can just start on today of having a healthy regime.
[04:58] I’ve had carpets were the first time we cleaned it, it looked good and as they worked on changing up the routines with it, they started vacuuming more frequently and they started limiting the sources of dirt into the carpet. And we started cleaning it on a more regular basis. It’s went from looking good to look in great over a couple of year period as they slowly tried to reverse some of the damage that was done to it.
