I wanted to talk to you about some of the things that set us apart from our competition. One of the main things that we do differently than others do in Tulsa is that we have a flat rate pricing system. That means is that we have single rates to cover certain size of homes that are up to a certain square footage. One price to clean all the carpets within a house of certain size ranges. We have one price for smaller homes. Or another price for homes that are medium or larger. These flat rate prices include cleaning the carpets throughout the entire home, each and every space that is carpeted. You could break that down however you would like. Some people like to remove all the furniture out of the home. We have other customers that like to just do a traffic area cleaning around the furniture. Some people are moving into a new home and there is nothing in the home yet. We help renters that are getting their home clean so that they get it ready for a final walk through. Or get it ready for a walk through with potential buyers as they are looking to sell their home. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998.
We sometime do cleanings for people who are just trying to get their place freshened back up so they can get their deposit back when they are finished renting a place. Another part that sets us apart from the competition is we repair carpet not just clean it. You don’t have to call out two different guys. Many times I’ve gotten a question from a carpet cleaning customer asking while we’re cleaning the carpets asking if we know of a good person who could restretch the carpets or a good person that could patch a hole they have in the bedroom. Do we know a good person that could do the repair to the transition to the tile wood or linoleum. Carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 And each time I am able to say yes. I actually could do that for you myself. This could save quite a bit of money by having one person do both process because we’re already there and a lot of a smaller patches and repairs that would require a minimum service call from another company. We could just add it into our current visit with the carpet cleaning and get it done for considerably less amount of money.
We have had 20 years of experience cleaning and repairing carpets. I actually started, before I started complete carpet, by working doing carpet cleaning and repair for my father’s business. He mainly did commercial carpet cleaning and repair. He also did other aspects of carpet maintenance and so I had years and years of years of experience before I ever started Complete Carpet, carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. It was a high school summer job working for my dad. Or as a holiday job to be able to get out there and do water damage work. Or help with crews as they did a large apartment complexes. So by the time that I started out to build my own business I already had a many years of background experience. I remember one time when I was around 15 or 16, and it was a Saturday and I had gotten together with one of the guys that work for my father, and we were up early and decided to go get some warm breakfast from McDonald’s. It seemed like a slow day at the time but really cold. The really wasn’t anything going on. So it was kind of a special treat to hang out for breakfast. Take it out there just go over and this cold day only thought we’ll go get something hot for McDonald’s. As were sitting there at McDonald’s we got a page. This was the time of alphanumeric pagers that would send you a text message. Thinking back on it that was the early text messages. Only problem was these couldn’t respond so you always had to hunt down some quarters and a payphone so that you could reply to the message and let them know that you had received the message or they would just keep texting you. The text was for a water damage. We had to run directly to get stuff done. He didn’t have time to go drop me off. So I just went ahead with him. We went and got that taken care of and in the middle of that water damage we got a text that there was another water damage, and it just a daisy chain together all the way throughout the entire day that by the time it’s about 3 or 4 o’clock in the morning, which was well into Sunday, and we were still sucking water in still trying to get through one job to another. It was so cold that out jeans had frozen stiff like boots around our shoes. And to this day over almost 25 years later, still every time I see him, we sit down and we remember that one day that we went to get some breakfast and ended up spending the next 18 hours sucking water out of flooded apartments.
