We want to talk this time about what you can do. I did get the wrinkles out of your carpet. Carpet is just like a new pair of shoes over time. It does slowly start to grow. Now that the installation was done good and proper, then it would be put in with about a half to 1-inch worth of stretch on it. The less blue that’s in the backing of the carpet then the less that the backing will hold itself together and it will stretch quicker than thicker carpet wood. in Oklahoma mostly Siri stretches around the five to seven year mark because this is when the carpets will relax enough to create a wrinkle in the room. This is due to low humidity and then high humidity fluctuations in the state of Oklahoma. the low humidity will be dry and stiff for the carpet where the high humidity will cause it to relax and become more loose and then it will stiffen up again and then become loose again. But carpet doesn’t normally continue to grow forever. Normally once it’s restretched once then it is good to go until it needs to be replaced. We will go into more details on why its important to keep your carpets tight and not let them stay loose in another episode.
