I want to talk about the pet spot, be cleaned or removed, and I we talked about small spots and whether they could be cleaned out easily or not in our last episode of this time, we’re talking about the larger spots and what that means for the carpet With a small pets likes a Yorkie or Pomeranian, some smaller dogs a lot of time, they have what we, but I call excited pee. So you got these little drops that are say the size of a silver dollar, maybe in a little bit bigger they’re all dollar bill size or smaller. These spots typically can just be cleaned out carpet cleaning Tulsa 1998. I run across a lot of different spots for cleaning I’d, say, probably a third of all of our residential Carpet Clean, have to do with pets in some one way or another. That’S laying on the floor getting for them dirty or maybe it’s because the pets have gone to the bathroom on the carpet or they had an accident or they got sick about all of these different situations. We can get in there and get the carpet clean and restore the health and life of the carpet.
But in this particular case, when we’re talking about pets and the spots that can be removed and not removed, a small pets, typically leave little topical spots and weather spot needs to be pulled up and have some of the paint removed depends on whether the carpeted? How big the carpet pet is, how much urine it puts down and then how much can the carpet absorbs? You got a really thin carpet. That’S very! If you fibers on it, then I want to get on to it is going to just naturally drain through it. If you have a carpet, that’s very flush and thick, you can pee quite a bit or spill quite a bit of liquid on to it, and the fiber will just hold the liquid and not let it get down into the padding below so on. A small dogs are typically just be cleaned off. Topically get into real, thorough cleaning will go through a treat spots. First will pretreat all the carpet, because I want thing that most people don’t think about. Is that anywhere that that that pet has peed or is Tangled on every person that stepped on it? Tinkle spot has now taken a little bit of a transfer of it and transfer it to the area around the corner, or maybe in just the front doorway Arch right at the door and then is everybody walk across that spot? It’S moved! That’S why a lot of time the spots will turn gray or brown over time is because it’s collecting dirty urine itself. That salt is left in the urine, becomes you rather sticky, and so it will collect stuff just like gum. Would you have green gum on the sidewalk, but quickly will turn to brown or black gum? The gum itself is not change from Green. It’S just stuck a lot of dirt over top of it to cover it, and it’s now looks Brown because it’s absorbed stuck all that dirt into it carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998. I’ve had lots of success in jet removing the year of I just cleaning it out. Little excited your keys and they had to go around either excited P. This excited to bark at you in the such a small dog that a hard bark cause them to dribble of it like a turtle, as you get these little drip spots throughout the house. In a case like that, you just have to make it, so you have to clean the carpets more often to keep removing urine cuz they’re, going to keep on having little spots around the house as it goes forward. Sometimes it looks like the spots are coming back when they actually, the pad is just going and putting new spots down in the same area that they’re used to putting spots down.
Now when you have large pet pee spots like this it can be fixed. First way that most people do is to just wait it out. Eventually over time all the urine in the pad will be absorbed into the carpet as people walk over it. And with each carpet cleaning the spot becomes less and less noticeable. The second option is to pull up the carpet and replace the affected padding below the area that has the pet urine in it. This option will stop the spot from coming back right then and there but it also is much more expensive to do since you much pull up the carpet and replace the padding in the area and stretch the carpet back into place once the new padding has been put in. One thing we try to tell people is to make sure you are using the right about of cleaning for the spot. If you use lots of chemicals on the pet urine spot you can actually make the spot even bigger over time because you have taken the urine in the carpet and diluted it increasing the size of the spot. We always recommend that you try and dry the spot completely before you start adding new chemical to the are so that the spot can be treated without spreading the spot any more then it already is.
