Uh, I wanted to talk to you today about the texture of your carpet, the type and style of your carpet. There are a couple of different carpet styles that are out there or give you the different ways that you would see them or how they would use. Let’s start off with a commercial, uh, level loop, or it’s also considered to be a fervor, but typically Berbers, a thicker longer loop, and you can get the commercial level loop. That’s a really tight, uh, uh, looped carpet that you’ll see in commercial spaces. It’s normally glued to the floor. Uh, this type of carpet is glued down because it’s in a commercial space. That’s what you want to get the most wear out of it.
Why would you blew the carpet? The floor is to have a pad under it. And it has because the carpet while glued to the floor cannot move. Thus, it is a lot harder for it to wrinkle that can still wrinkle because you get enough physical wear on it that you, uh, grind up or powder out the glue that’s there. And that glue gets powdered up and ground up. And then the carpet around it will bow or flex and come out. Typically it’s covered because of some type of water damage, or you just have a herd of elephants go across the carpet. They put a thousands of footsteps, 10,000 footsteps, a hundred thousand footsteps on it, and they just wear down the backing of the carpet itself. And so one of the things that you have, or that you can run into when you’re dealing with spaces or ideas, is that you get something that you can do that will help you to be able to maintain that space.
And the carpet is a huge benefit in that area, in that space, in that mental class, be talking about carpet, we’ll talk about a commercial level loop. So we’re going to move on to the next type of carpet is your district regular loop, which was called a Berber. So then your Berber carpet you’ll have a, a more longer thicker plusher loop. So it’s more for your, uh, not your commercial space, but for your residential space. Um, it still is going to be a rough carpet similar to the commercial version. This will just have the larger others. Okay, well, the upside is that it looks a little more decorative. It’s nicer. The downside is that it has, uh, the level loop has a, uh, more of a rough feel to it. So when you get down on your knees, you’re going to rub the hair and the skin right off your knee, which I just tell you is be super fantastic and really nice and soft is not one of the, uh, descriptions of a Berber carpet is more of a rough decorative carpet, but it does wear tremendously Tulsa Carpet Cleaning.
Well, this is, you have loops instead of single fibers. It doesn’t flatten out. It doesn’t mix together. You don’t get the fluffy in the puffing that you do from a, uh, from a regular cut pile carpet is that takes us right into the next type carpet, which is a cut pile carpet. And that type of carpet is where you have somebody and, uh, find a, uh, an area that is your it’s, honestly, your average carpet that’s out there. They take it, built the carpet together. At first, they start off with the fibers. They died into the color that they would like to have for the fibers and they take and put those fibers into a netting. All of the fibers go through as a loop, like a U shaped, like a staple going through. So all the fibers hanging down, they’re all stuck through. And then they slap the back of the fiber through the netting.
It slather it with a layer of glue. And then they put in second netting, like a sandwich between the first Nettie and the second Nettie. And that holds the carpet fibers, which are little loops in the carpet. And all of them sit there in the back end of the carpet that creates the back end of those two layers of nettings with blue. Um, so looking through the things that we can accomplish and do we want to find out, um, what type of carpet it is that cut pile carpet is going to the shorter. It is the longer to last, the longer it is, the more comfortable it is, but the law, the quicker it will wear down.
And this is because of Houdini’s nail theory. You take Houdini. He used to take a single nail and be able to poke his hand with it a super sharp, and it would actually put or take a single nail and just hammer it through wood and see that, okay, this nail will puncture something if, if I pushed into it. So it takes a bed of nails with a thousand nails on it, and it’s a one foot square and then put the block on top of it Tulsa Carpet Cleaning, puts it on his chest. And then as someone break a block on top of his chest, while he’s sitting there, this shows the, um, the impact of the power that, uh, the, that his chest can take against all these little dagger like things. The, uh, the more it will hold up to where, cause he gets now spread over a different Avenue or different, uh, way that it interacts with the, with the wear of the things. As things rubbed back and forth, the more they move, the more they get broken down, the more they get broken down, the faster they will break down. Cause carpet is just little bits of rope that are twisted and you untwist those little bits of rope and they will eventually bloom and they will eventually twist and fluff into each other.
