We continue our series on carpet stretching. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998. We are Complete Carpet.

Speaker 1: (05:07)
You are guaranteed to have any problems. It’s not like a question of if it’s just a question of when does it happen? I’m needing this knowing this is part of the process. You know how to take and say, okay, knowing that’s true, just like working out, if I go do extreme marathons all the time, I’m eventually going to have a heart attack. That’s why the super long distance runners typically have a heart attack in their 50s. We don’t want people to have a heart attack in the 50s but if you’re out there stressing your heart beyond the capacity that it has, then you are willing to wear out faster than it’s supposed to. And this we have seen in all different types and facets. And that, um, everybody that pushes their body beyond its normal scope of eventually wear out the normal scope. But before it’s the old adage, there’s only so many ticks and a ticker carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1990 we are complete carpet and we’re talking about stretching and we’re going back over the basics of stretching in this particular podcast and we’ll go into restricting afterwards. But just to get a firm grasp and knowledge of stretching so you can understand what it is and how it can be helpful or useful, you need to know first how is it done to begin with?

Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998. Really a good story happened early on

Speaker 1: (06:31)
when I first got started, stretching was being taught when I was learning how to do it. Learn how to install carpet. I started off with closets and you would think, geez, why started off in something so small? Surely I know enough to go and get going here, but know what you can in a closet, you don’t need a power stretcher. Couldn’t put a power stretcher in there anyway. But also if you mess up, you only have a three foot by five foot closet that you’ve messed up so it’s a small amount of carpet you can’t do and I’ll give you a little pro tip here on this little side note advices. If you want to get the new carpet installed, always go with a company and installer and carpet all in one company. Make sure your carpet, you’re buying your pad, you’re buying and the installation is all done by one company that gives a warranty. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998.

Speaker 1: (07:20)
You want at least a one year warranty for the installation. That way if the person installs it and they did a bad job, you don’t have to try to hunt down the one robe installer to see if you can get him to come back and fix it because he won’t. He’ll just go see you and not answer your calls, but you’ll have a whole company behind it that don’t want a large lawsuit. They don’t want you to leave a bad review. They want to make sure that you are a satisfied, happy customer and anybody that’s working with them has already installed many houses for them and they know the quality of their work. Cause if they did bad work it wouldn’t get called back again. And so most all the good installers in any city are working for the carpet companies because they give them solid, consistent work and so they will always have work to do.

Speaker 1: (08:08)
If you’re an independent installer, that means that more than likely you are not good enough to be on the big companies. Now there is a, there’s exceptions. I was an independent installer for quite awhile and I was the best independent Stoller out there, one of the only independent stores out there because I did not want to work for somebody else. I wouldn’t had that entrepreneur’s mindset and I wanted to be able to set my own schedule and do my own thing and I want to do things in a different way. I didn’t want to have to be forced to follow what other people did is so that I could do stuff that other people wouldn’t do. I always had always, we’ve always done even with our [inaudible] and we do now here in the Tulsa area, we’re doing stuff that no one else is willing to do. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998.

Speaker 1: (08:48)
Cause I know the best way to do things. And I also want, I care more about helping people. So I’m one, I needed the pain cause at the end of the day it’s how I want to do missions work. Do you want to be a missionary? Go do missions work. And I’m 100% behind. Got many customers who are missionaries. I’ve gone on missions trips, my sisters have gone on stuff so I didn’t completely behind and support all of your middle strip stuff. But as the Jesus wants said, given a Caesar what is Caesar’s and give them to God when has gone, there are times, there are different types of people and there are certain situations where you need to be able to donate your time and energy to evaluable laws and other times that you need to pay properly for what the thing has done. Um, uh, one of the first in the Bible says that every worker is worth his wage.

Speaker 1: (09:39)
Uh, that is a two sided thing and I think that we should look at that on two different problems. One, the worker is worth his wage. That means that he needs to do something to be worth his wage. A lot of times we think, Oh well, I mean because I exist just because I’m willing to work. That means I’m worth a wage. Tulsa’s highest and most reviewed carpet cleaner. And I think it’s the other way around. You need to be worth your wage because not because you exist because you bring value and that is hard for a lot of people to uh, address directly that you need to bring the right level of value to a situation and what your value you bring to it is what you will be able to in that pain or push forward with people if they go. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998. We are talking about installation, we’re talking about the difference in installers and our protein that we’re covering right now is that you need to get out there and find somebody who can do both your carpet installation and sell you the carpet so that for some reason it’s a think of it an insurance policy so that when you get those carpets done, if there is something wrong with it, the person who installed it will come back and fix it because they’re getting a paycheck from the company that you did and they will not continue to get a paycheck or continue on the job if they don’t do work that is, um, goes up to the standard that that company wants.
