We want to have the space where you can go and you hang out with your children because you just enjoy being with them, hanging out with your wife because, or your husband because they’re just, you know, fun conversation pieces where you can still talk and then do it more. I remember one of my best pieces of advice I ever received was talking about marriage. I said, make sure that you never neglect or never forsake getting to talk with your spouse because really it’s the two of you against the world. The problem is not that your spouse is talking to you or complaining about their life. The problem is when they stop talking to you and complaining about their life like you need to have, you need to be that person, that ear for somebody else to communicate and talk to you about it and also be that place of inspiration and hope for them so that they know that no matter what life does or how life sucks, there’s somebody who’s in their corner. There’s somebody who’s there because the reality is life is, it is a great aspect of, of our creation, of our um, engagement cause it gives us all the tools that we need to create an amazing experience. But it also is a punishing teacher that if you don’t follow through and do the things that you want to, it’s not because God or the universe hates you. It’s not a, I was talking to my children about this recently and I think it’s a super important thing that life itself does not punish you and just rewards you and you may not like the reward. There are results of all of our actions by some of those results may be something positive, but we do want some of those results turn into action that we don’t want, but that doesn’t change the fact that the results are just results we would love for them to do.

You know, try to talk about them differently as it were being punished or you know, unfairly responded to. But the results are the same. Results matter which way you go. If I don’t take care of my bunny rabbit and I don’t give it food and water, it will die. And that is the result of me choosing not to give food and water to my body, rather it will die. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998. Now on the same token, if I want to use that same process I can take, if I’ve got a squirrel on my attic, I need to make sure I removed the food and water and any source things cause I do want that squirrel today. Whereas with the things that I do want, I have to use the opposite. I want to make sure I don’t use those tactics on them because they will also die. We do that when we want to get rid of plants in our garden or in our yard that we don’t want. But if we use a wide spectrum plant to kill killer, we may kill the grass and the flowers that we do want to keep. And so we have to make sure we’re not, we’re using the web product to get rid of the right thing. It’s the result of our action, not a consequence to our action. Now, some people will say there are consequences to your actions. I absolutely agree that there are consequences, but the consequences are not punishments. They are just a standardized way of responding that the universe will give us. If I go to the top of the building, I will not be punished for stepping off the top of the building.

Gravity will do what is supposed to do and bring me back to the ground and I have made the dumb choice of taking that trip without some way to cushion my fault. Now on the same token though, if there was not gravity and it did not give me that result, that consequence, that reaction, then the um, that I would never be able to get out either up to the top of or to the bottom of a building. And so I just allow my body to fall one step at a time and catch the fall to stop the momentum so that I don’t carry the momentum on. And so unfortunately I took a hundred foot step if I’m going down a 10 story building, whereas I should take a seven inch or a nine inch step and step down one step at a time as I walked down the staircase. So life itself is similar to that and that it’s, you know, you need to look around and say, okay, what results am I getting and what are the actions I’ve taken that have led to these results? And so we want to use that same thought process in that all carpet will behave roughly the same. And so there is not a punishment for not caring for your carpet is just the result that you get from too much dirt and debris and your carpet will break the carpet down faster. If you want to have carpet in the government breakdown so fast and take it and clean it and wear it out.

Now I’m on the other side. Let me take it on a stupid, I’m gonna take this a little bit dumb and we’ll go a little stupid on this particular example, but it kind of serves. The point is that if you work out, there’s been some science out there and it’s proven to show that if you work out on a regular basis that you can actually add years of life. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998. So I, let’s say that you work out three or four times a week for an hour each time. So you’re putting in three or four hours every week in the gym. You potentially can add three to five years of life to your life. Now, if I am on the other side, I’m the super pessimists and knows that, okay, this is, this is a trade off where I’m creating, you know, the different parts of my life.
