Speaker 1: (00:01)
Welcome to the carpet DM podcast. This is complete carpet. My name is Nathan. I will be your host today. That is Nathan. Sabrina’s with a V and an I. Oh, I don’t even need to try to spell it as a difficult name. Just if you can pronounce it then. That’s good. I was listening to a podcast just earlier today. They were talking about the mispronunciation of so many pod-casters names. This is somebody that does a podcast, must have an in pronounceable name to be as a part of the elite group of podcasters so that you could frustrate everyone, whoever wants to try to find you or search you. Of course. I guess it could be, it could work in reverse if you want to be a little bit more incognito. You don’t want people to be able to find who you are, where you’re looking. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998.

Speaker 1: (00:48)
Then just come up with a name that is difficult for anyone to ever spell and they’ll never be able to truly search it out because they don’t remember how to spell it. Of course, I seen this too many times in businesses where they have seven unique difficult name and then they have, unless you are a direct referral, it’s sort of like having a billboard out in the middle of the woods where no one could ever find it. And you wonder why you don’t get any organic business. You only get a direct direct sales or referrals and it’s because you’ve created something that’s just too difficult to figure out a carpet cleaning Tulsa since 1998 we are complete carpet and I want to go over today the importance of rugs. Um, there’s a lot of different forms and functions that rugs can have in your home.

Speaker 1: (01:34)
Um, sometimes we use them in a way that is very effective. Other times we use them in a way that doesn’t make too much sense. And so you have to figure out what is your goal if the goal is for decoration. I’ve seen people who have a rug and they’ve actually hung it on a bar and they’ve put it up on the wall. So obviously that rug is never going to get stepped on. Tulsa’s highest and most reviewed carpet cleaner. It was probably never going to get dirty, may get dusty, but it will never need to be cleaned because it just hangs on the wall. As long as you give it a good stiff of vacuum and every now and then it’ll be just fine. Other people take super expensive, nice rug and they put them in as their entry mats and then they get frustrated when people walk on their entry mat as they come into their home and to cause their rugs to get dirty. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998.

Speaker 1: (02:14)
And then other people use decorative like say a floral print that has um, old beautiful welcome sign or I’m glad to see you or maybe a crest, a family crest with a letter on it. And virtually everybody that comes up to a home that has a doormat like that will take and step over the doormat as they come in because just like we were in high school, if the basket is printed on the floor, you don’t step on the mascot. It’s bad luck. It’s bad Juju, it’s bad something. And so you just don’t do it. It’s just like an unspoken rule that says, thou shalt not step on mascots face for fear of losing my foot. It was probably the same reason as we were kids. We’d walk along and we’ve avoided all the cracks. We weren’t exactly sure whether it’d be hot lava or if you step on a crack, you’ll break your mother’s back.

Speaker 1: (03:07)
Did you made sure that you didn’t get on those steps because you didn’t want whatever the calamity that you believed or you had imagined to have happen? What happened? My son, he’s in a phase of life right now where he creates what if scenarios, and I realized the other day that it’s this childlike. Tulsa’s highest and most reviewed carpet cleaner. What if scenarios that create a good chunk of the movies that we see and we go to see the movies. When you’re a kid, you just make out the movies every day. You, every day that you just imagined that you pretend to be whatever it is that you enjoy it. As you become an adult, you can’t sit and just play, make believe, but you do still get to play. Make believe. You’ll go to the movies and you play. Make believe there. And if you have any question of this, ask all of the tens of millions of people that watched the game of Thrones series and wonder, is this something that is, is this a historic film? Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998.

Speaker 1: (04:00)
This is something grounded in reality or is this completely fiction and just completely fun and testicle and just over the top and you kind of suspend your disbelief so that you can imagine. So you can think of things greater and different than the world that you’re in. So you can enjoy something unique. And this, uh, this experience translates back into your rugs in a way that you can create that same wonderful, fantastic, beautiful, unique experience. But people will, out of respect, avoid that experience. Tulsa’s highest and most reviewed carpet cleaner. They will try to not step on it. And the whole purpose of rug, unless it’s on the wall for decoration, is so that it can knock the dirt off your feet to protect all the rest of the carpet in your home. And this is where some people have plenty of really beautiful rugs, but they also have a really dirty carpet or whatever.

Speaker 1: (04:50)
I’ve got these rugs all placed throughout and get my carpets, keep getting dirty in it because the majority of people will it Boyd, the rugs, if they are decorative now, if they look more functional, if they’re just kind of dark or scuffy or they look like they’re supposed to be a place where you’re supposed to rub your feet off on them, then then your guests when they come in and they will take and they’ll clean their shoes a little bit better, they will make sure that as they are coming into your home that they are removing the dirt and not bringing it in. And this will help to maintain the flow of it. Your home, you’ll see it in uh, going into target or going into Walmart and a lot of times they’ll have the double doors as you come in. And that 10 to 15 foot to the 50 foot space is where people will come in. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998.

Speaker 1: (05:38)
And a lot of times they think, well, why is it such a big entry or the double doors doing something special to try to block off heat loss? Or do you bring the flow of traffic into the home a little differently and in this case, most of the time they are there because as they are trying to give you a long or big enough space that will allow you to knock the dirt off your shoes and uh, will not allow you to do it, it will force you to knock it off your shoe is probably the better, better terminology, the better way to look at it and be like that. You’re forcing me to knock the dirt off my shoe as well. They are in the fact that they are giving you a space to walk to where it’s at, the type of something that will knock or mess up or change your flooring just enough that you can get in and get the uh, dirt knocked rubbed or knocked off of your foot before you get all the way into their store.
