This is the Complete Carpet Podcast. So that’s 150 minutes a year for 150 minutes a year. You can really double the life of your carpet. Now 150 minutes, that is at least a splitter, considerable investment. And so that’s two approximately two and a half hours a year. So for two and a half hours a year, you can save 250 to $500 in cost of carpet. So you can bring down the cost, your yearly cost of carpet by just doing some routine regular maintenance to your carpet. And then also including an extra hour. So you got two and half hours there and an extra hour and a half to get the carpets cleaned once a year. You can’t just kind of keep going on. Some of us do because we don’t have any option. But now you’ve got broken down carpet that’s got holes in it, got tears and rips. The seams are coming apart at the edges are frayed out. Um, and there’s not much you can do because at some point it’s, it can’t be repaired or it can’t be patched, but you hit a certain point, the carpet is starting to fall apart and it ends up getting replaced. So let’s say that you’re, you know, three years into a five-year, really difficult time with your carpet, and that still means you’ve got half the life of the carpet left. Do carpet, do your regular care maintenance with vacuuming. Have a regular carpet cleaning every six months to a year, depending on your schedule. Get in and spend three minutes a week doing some vacuuming so that you can kind of get that bulk of dirt off of the carpet to keep it from spreading. Because if you keep the dirt from your spare bedroom doesn’t emanate dirt on its own, it has to be either brought into the room or walked into or something. Put in the room, like if you in front of your couch, he gets extra where there, because people typically will sit and drink and eat or they’ll do things. They’re at the couch and where the carpet out there faster. I want to get extra wear out of my carpet as a whole, but certain areas are going to get a lot more traffic and where, so having those rugs in place can help to put that where and that traffic onto the rug instead of on your carpet so that when the rug wears out, the carpet are neat. Whether it be that you need your carpets cleaned, whether you need your tile clean, maybe a repair, a patch, maybe there’s some upholstery that needs a touch up or get a second look on life. We had did one just a couple of weeks ago with somebody who was donating some furniture and it had been in storage for a long time, so it was just gonna you can Pat your hand against it. A plume of dust came flying off of it and so we used did a really good job cleaning it all up for them so that it could be in their, uh, the clubhouse of their complex. And then other people gave it a second life, give it a second chance at life to where people could come in and use it and enjoy the piece of furniture again. Um, but it needed to be cleaned.
