Carpet Cleaner | Episode 519 | Complete Carpet
Speaker 1: (00:01)
Welcome to the carpet DME podcast, the complete carpet podcast. I am your host, Nathan Sevrinus. And today we’re going to continue talking about when to get your carpets clean before you take your pictures, before you start to show it, or before you hand over the keys to your castle, to the next owner, a carpet cleaning Tulsa. Since 1998 we are complete carpet. So give us a call the day at (918) 494-7093 so Canadian on our talk last time we were finished out by talking about sowing and reaping what you do to pay it forward. So just to capsize that thought, uh, what you do for the next person will eventually be what the next person does for you. We all know this as a universal principle. If the stock market is overly high or it’s overly low, whereas a bear market or a bull market and then you know that that market’s going to correct, we know that, uh, if we plant seeds in the ground, eventually that type of plant will grow you. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998.
Speaker 1: (01:03)
I’ve never had anybody tell me they put a bunch of Apple seeds in the ground and were shocked to get strawberries. Well because the strawberries won’t grow. You didn’t plant strawberry seeds. Now could they maybe take a long time to grow or not grow at all because the conditions weren’t right? Or there are plenty of times where we do something kind, but in a way that doesn’t elicit a response. Because we go around and we tell everybody, man, I’m a super tiny dude. Look at all the kinds of stuff I do. And then all of a sudden everyone either gives you accolades and praise right then. So you did receive a reward. You received the reward of people’s adoration or appreciation or you get to stay because people really don’t like a Hottie boisterous braggadocious type person. So I like to tell people that you just do things but do it because you know that the right thing to do. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa is in our fiber.

And then others will see the kindness that people do. Cause if you live a kind of lifestyle like that, others will see it. And in your behavior. We’ve all known the kid in high school who was just, you could just tell, but genuinely a nice considerate person and the kid who was just a jerk, and we don’t want to be jerks in our lives, but everybody, including myself at times exhibit a definite jerk like attitude as we unintentionally are really short with somebody because we’re focused on whatever we’re doing and we’ve forgotten that the other person was standing right there. We ignored them or we were short to them or we didn’t appreciate their ideas. And so other people will do the same to us and it becomes a vicious cycle and we’re not careful that you will do something, a crash to somebody they in turn bristle up and they’ll say something crass back to you. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998.
Speaker 1: (02:36)
You don’t really realize you had done that to what we were thinking about it. So you don’t understand the animosity that you received and so now you’re going to carry that little chip on your shoulder and then you just start giving other people chips and so it just becomes everyone passing. It’s like a game of tag where you passing a chip on your shoulder back and forth to everyone else, but they gave a tag can turn around. When you start giving people lollipops, then that person is like, well, like if you say, if somebody shows up at your birthday party with an extravagant gift, you were all of a sudden realize, Ooh, well I guess it’s like one of those Christmas parties and you show up and one of your coworkers, somebody who’s buying you a big present and you didn’t get them anything. You all of a sudden start making up an elaborate story about how, wow, man, I didn’t know you were going to be here. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa is in our fiber.
Speaker 1: (03:21)
Otherwise I’d have brought your gifts to that. You started thinking, man, I don’t, I didn’t get them a gift. I’ve got to go get them a gift. But I didn’t know who they were doing the gift exchanging thing. I didn’t know that was a part that you know, immediately you feel this uh, impulse or, or a response to the fact that you got given an extravagant gift that you ought to like kind do something back in return. So we’ll go back to our second topic for the day of getting things done, uh, before or after. And in this case, it’s before you have your first showing. A lot of times you’re prepping your house. You had contractors going through to do little fix up honey, knock off all the honeydew this that you’d have for the house so that when people show it shows the best. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998.
Speaker 1: (04:01)
If there’s a quick pro tip, would you want to do for your house to main core focus should be the first 60 seconds of your home. Be 30 seconds walking from the garage up to the door and then from the inside the door, the first 30 seconds you could reach to that TV or natural path going into the home. So you need to be able to do those two paths are what everyone’s going to remember. First impressions do really matter. We look at the rest of our experience and we color it based upon what we do. If you walk out and your breath is taken away by the look of the house, had you opened the door, if your breath is taken away by the interior stuff, then everything else you look at throughout the home is going to support that belief is going to support that decision you made on first sight. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa is in our fiber.
Speaker 1: (04:48)
If not, if you walk in and the house just doesn’t impress you or turns you away, well then everything you look at inside the house is going to be looking for support of why you are negative towards this home. That’s also why you need to be careful when asking people if you’re selling your home, what they are thinking about your home, why they did or didn’t want to buy your home. Because a lot of times those decisions are made not because of a logical, I don’t like arch doorways or the living room was too small. It’s more of an emotional. Um, I just didn’t like the home. And so now I’m trying to come up and I’m trying to justify the reason I don’t feel, I really believe that home mine is more of a spiritual decision. And when I say spiritual, I mean the same way that he walked in to see it’s a, it’s an unknown. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998.
Speaker 1: (05:33)
It’s not a physical, tangible decision. It’s a feeling decision. Uh, it’s not emotional, it’s not quite the right word, but it is spiritual and an essence that there’s a spirit. Each home has as a vibe, probably a good word, a vibe that each home has. I sat down and do speed dating with 10 different women. I could walk up there and just look across without talking to him sitting there across the road from it. Just go up to each one, just say. Okay. Um, no thank you. No thank you. No thank you. Uh, you can stay. You can stay. No, thank you. No, thank you. Thank you. And so you probably out of the 10 there’ll be two people that I would want to, I got out of connection with just by looking at them just by the sense of what I could sense from their personality and their name without, without talking, without actually finding out a bunch of details out. We all could sense a place that people do the same thing with a home. The first time they walked in, they were going to go appeal. So you want to make sure part of that deal is that the carpets look fresh and clean perfectly, and he told us since 1998 we are complete carpet to give us a call today at (918) 494-7093.
