Welcome to the carpet DM podcast. My name is Nathan and today I’m going to talk to you about the basics of carpet cleaning. Uh, thank you for joining us. Some of the services you might see if you visit our website would be perfect. Cleaning, tile, cleaning, upholstery, cleaning. We could do patch and repair. I’ve got a lot of different things to help your carpet to maintain the health and wellbeing a carpet pretty much everything after it’s been installed. Um, a lot of times people will go to the website just to see what our specials that we’re offering and we have a new customer special that we offer for people. Um, one thing that’s uh, important to know is that we do schedule set appointments. So if you want to set appointment time, we’re going to really be the perfect company for, we don’t have these large windows of time. We’ve got just a specific time, um, time that we’ll show up and we’ll get you taken care of. So first step to scheduling and getting your carpets cleaned is to schedule. So just give us a call. That way we can answer all your questions and then during that time we’ll find a time that works good for you. We’ve got carpet cleaning schedules from Monday through Saturday. We go in the morning until the evening. We try to have a lot of variety of times. The only time we don’t clean carpets is on Sunday. Um, would find the time that matches your schedule and matches our schedules. So we’ll come out there, um, and get you taken care of. So the first thing is to get all of your information, uh, what you call it, a schedule we’ll make, we’ll find out when you need to get done, whether you’re within our service area, how much of a cost to be done, um, and find out all of the information that we’d need. We enter that information and you’re going to receive a text message from us right away to let you know all of the information, be able to confirm it, but also so that you can have that for your reference later. We also email you to let you know about when your appointment time is going to be. Um, we then will send a technician on the day. We’re going to call you ahead of time, probably 30 minutes ahead of time to let you know we’re on the way so you know exactly when we’re going to be there. We’ll also send you an all the way text. And so, you know, um, that we’re in route to get your dog taken care of. And when we get there, a lot of times people, this, I’ve had a lot of people who this is their first carpet clean. They’re wonder what is going to happen. And so the carpet cleaning process takes typically an hour to two hours and we’ll get there. I need some way for the carpet, uh, to get clean. And so it’s sorta like soaking your dishes and Donald use one side of the same to break up the dirt and the other side of the sink to rinse it all off. And so we’ll come in, we’ll do a pre spray over all the carpet. We will, um, then start at the very back of the carpet. Actually before we do all that, we’re going to walk through the home and let you show us what needs to be done. So carpet cleaning is very simple, is getting the stuff that stuck to your carpet broken up and then we suck it back out. And so the way the process works is that we pretreat all the carpet. You’d use hot water to extract dirt out of your carpets. The, um, so we get in there, we pull all of our hoses out, we clean all of the dirt out and all the dirt gets sucked up and goes back into the, uh, machine. Uh, one of the things we tell all of our customers is that, um, when you need us is when your backroom can’t pull the dirt out. And so that’s why it’s important. So carpet cleaning starts with the soap, breaking down the dirt that’s in the carpet. And then we go through and use a hot water extraction rinse. The heat of the water, helps to break down the oils in the carpet or break up all of the debris that’s in the carpet and we suck it back out so it gets sucked back into the machine. Uh, we then go one room at a time, we’ll clean hallways and we clean bedrooms, we’ll clean the living room and we kinda clean all the open areas around your home. For you. Um, you can also look to see if there’s any patching or repair or stretching that can be done. Uh, we specialize in doing a traffic area, cleaning through your home so it will be able to get in and get all the dirt and debris out of your home. Typically takes like four to six hours to drive, should be a fairly easy process to get through. And when we’re done, we will do a walkthrough afterwards to just confirm that everything really was to the way that you want to do to be taken care of and done.
