Welcome to another edition of the carpet diem podcast. I’m your host, Nathan Sabrina’s with complete carpet. Today we’re going to continue our podcast series and number three about the history of complete carpet. And I know you’re saying, wait, this is the history of complete carpet. You’ve yet to cover the history of complete carpet. You’re building on the ideas and the concepts behind it, and I think this is important and you say you’re just doing this because you ramble on about the things that you’re thinking about. But the reality is is that these things are building blocks of how you end up at your concept. A lot of times people just tell you, Oh, I did this great and amazing idea, and if you tried to go out there, recreate their great, amazing idea, it doesn’t work for you and you can’t figure out why you’re like, I did what they did, but you didn’t do it for the reasons that they did it at times. I was listening to a podcast recently and they were talking about how they invest in businesses and they invested over a billion dollars in different businesses and trying to connect with different startups, kind of an angel investor, getting things done. But they said they won’t invest in a business that the person doing the business has, um, has never failed. They’ve, if they’ve only ever been successful in business, they’re doing, they don’t wanna invest in that. A business is way too risky. They said they want to be in a business where somebody failed at least twice before because then they know the, the urgency, the importance of every decision that’s made. They know the things that are going to come up cause they’ll always be something that comes up that surprises you. Something that comes up that’s more um, uh, uh, if you have not weathered the storm yet, you don’t know how to weather a storm. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa is in our fiber.

And there’s lots of people who have Fairweather, uh, we call them Fairweather friends are similar. They’re friends that will be there for you as long as things are good. But as soon as tough or hard times come, then they disappear. They just scurry away like cockroaches when you turn the light on. And so sometimes in life you need to have those that are, they’ve got grit, they’ve got that toughness, they’ve got that mental toughness. And sometimes you say, okay, how do I get mental toughness? How do I get there? And that is some of the things that I’m going over right now is how do you get the backend, the meat and the potatoes of the mental toughness perfectly cleaning Tulsa since 1998 we are complete carpet. Get us a call the day at (918) 494-7093. We’re going to continue this podcast and this time when we’re talking about the mental toughness before we talked about, um, the idea that all of life is worked, that everything in your life is some form of function of things that you do. We jokingly talked about the idea that some people they don’t want to do other work. Uh, some of the work is this stuff that we skip over. It’s too hard to get up and make yourself your own food. Too hard to wake up and take care of your body odor problems. Too hard to be able to brush your own teeth too hard to clean up your room, take care of the trash, take the trash. These are all just things that happened before you’ve ever left for work. They’re all the things that you deal in struggle with that our work that we sometimes just feel overwhelmed with. Just the dural duties of our home. And that’s the work you do before you actually go to work. So all of life is some form of work. And knowing this in the core, I think will change your ideology, change your perspective of the world and the things that the choices and the thing that you’re going to do. This intern can change the happiness factor in your life because if you already know that things are the way they are, you then can approach them in a different way. And it’s difficult because we’re typically, um, approaching things, thinking things will be different. It’s the old adage as good as it gets, is this as good as it gets? And sometimes that’s typically said in a negative way, like, well I guess this is as good as it gets. You say it with a real down tone, you’re really negative and down. You’re like, well, I thought things would be better and I got stuck with this. Or you can look at it from the other side and being, if this is as good as it gets, if this is the best that life has to offer, then how do I enjoy everything I’ve currently got available to me? Like maybe this is the very most money I’ll ever make in my life. Maybe this is the very happiest I’ll ever be. Maybe it all does go downhill from here and it never gets any better than this. So instead of me sitting here waiting for my lucky lottery, I’ve seen some, some people who have gone through life waiting for a lottery win to accomplish what it is they wanted to accomplish. So there they’ve got their life on hold their about their life on pause, waiting for some big windfall to really then go out and live life. Um, and Steve jobs famously said that, um, him almost dying got him to actually start living. And sometimes we, uh, it’s the old adage, you know, Christian outages, you’re so heavenly minded, you’re no earthly good. Sometimes we get in that way space where we’re so excited about that new thing. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa is in our fiber.

We’re so excited about that other project B, if we ever get to here, but you can never get to there because you’ve made a goal that is trying to get to a goal. Your goal is to try to get to a goal as opposed to actually having things around you. Uh, for example, I’ve built my house and I’ve put everything into my house to where when I go home, if I never left my house again, uh, I would actually be okay. I’d be just fine if I had enough money to keep the lights on. I’ve got enough things in my house. I love doing that. I can spend virtually every waking moment and day right there in my house and just enjoy my home. I just love everything I’ve put into my home and the way things are laid out and I just, I’ve done it because I looked around and said, what actually makes me happy? How do I enjoy what is around me today? And just there if I like messing around and playing on my computer or building computers. I like a great entertainment system and I’m a real audio files. I’ve got really nice speakers that that just bring me joy in the way that I, um, entertain and connect. I like sitting down and doing stuff with the kids. We’ve got some great space. I like having a, a big counter kitchen that’s open. It’s close and no matter where you’re sitting you’ve got eye contact with everybody. I like having a nice big bathtub because I like sitting down and just to somebody who’s got the jets in his world and you know, I’ve got these different things that have set up in my space that connect to where it checks all the boxes for me. And I think sometimes we don’t check all those boxes. Carpet cleaning can be one of those boxes that gets checked, but want to make sure that as you’re pursuing whatever the next goal in your life is, is say, am I content with where I’m going to be? And that leads us into our next segment will be how we started complete carpet, carpet cleaning. Tilson since 1988 we are complete carpet. Give us a call today at (918) 494-7093.
