Speaker 1: (00:00)
Welcome to the carpet podcast. I’m your host, Megan Sabrina’s and today as we’re enjoying this beautiful weather here in the Tulsa Oklahoma area, we wanted to talk to you about the effect, whether it plays on your carpet perfectly. Even Tulsa since 1998 we aren’t complete carpet, your carpet cleaning and source for everything after your carpet has been installed or whatever you need to get to do to maintain the health and well being of your carpet and we don’t want your carpet wellbeing to be neglected, so do not neglect it. Take care of it like a treasure cat. Since we are having a beautiful day today, I wanted to talk to you about the effects that weather can have on your carpet. As far as a carpet cleaning, we get asked this on a regular basis is how does the weather affect the carpet cleaning process itself outside of getting a little damp because it is raining outside the uh, the weather outside typically does not affect carpet cleaning your home. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998.

Speaker 1: (01:00)
Most people are thinking about the weather outside and not the weather inside. Every house that we’re going to clean the carpets in is climate controlled. So if it’s cold and in the winter you’re keeping the house at 68 at the top, it’s in the summer, you’re probably keeping it to 72 most normal spread. I mean there are a few people who are just cold natured so they may keep their house and let it go cold the winter down in the sixties or they are just a kind of Southern type people that are more swamp cooler. Just keep fans, go into them. They like the heat get up higher in the summer, but for the most part we all keep it in that four degree range, 68 and 72 somewhere in there. And so when we are dealing with trying to uh, enjoy the current surroundings that we have, we want to make sure that we are consistent on our inside indoor temperatures. Thus you have climate controlled in a climate controlled environment. It’s going to be typically about the same humidity and may go up and make her down. But both people’s houses don’t really change much for about 14 to 16% humidity. It’s not normal for most environments. On a rainy day, you may add five or 10% humidity, but not that much. Now it’d be very super outside, but because your AC is running inside, it dries out the air or it may be very cold outside, which is causing, honestly, most people don’t think about this and it’s the reason that your knuckles crack, but during the winter the coldness drops the air out or drops that humidity out of the air and because of that you end up with a very dry air. And so both those two conditions are great for carpet cleaning because the more dry the air is, the quicker the carpets dry themselves. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998.

Speaker 1: (02:57)
But as far as whether the it’s humorous or it’s dry outside will affect the dry time slowly but not a huge amount. So the inside of the home stays nice and dry because you have a roof to protect yourself. So we actually are able to do all of our cleaning and all, all winter. The only time that we need to be careful with when it’s very, very cold outside, I think it’s down into the single digits. Then we have to make sure that we keep the van running and heated at all times because as with all processes that involve water, if you let it set for too long and at single digit degrees, it’s going to freeze pretty quickly. And so we have to maintain, make your own poses stay warm and as long as the machine is running and as long as we are Cleveland carpets, because we’re using 200 plus degree of water, the water does not freeze in the lines. So it’s able to, we’re able to continue to use it. Now, if we turned the machine off and waited 15 to 20 minutes and there’s a chance that the water does freeze in the line, so we have to make sure that we’re using proper caution. So for example, when we doing a, we typically will back off or not do repairs during a very, very cold snap. Just because to do that it means we have to turn the machine off for a certain amount of time to do the repair work. So we will put the repair work off for a week or two to wait for the weather to meet at or above freezing just so that we don’t have to worry about all the water in our machines. We also have to make sure that as they overnight that they’re always heated. Also just to keep them in good working condition perfectly. Tulsa’s Carpet Cleaner since 1998.

And it tells us it’s 98 we are complete carpet. Give us a call today at (918) 494-7093. So we were talking about the effects of weather on the carpet cleaning process and we tracked it and sometimes I get a customer who work with for Sonic, uh, the, the type that you would drive into for your food. And they said that, uh, there was uh, very little that changed their stores is that it could be very cold outside. It can be very hot and they do about the same amount of business, said that thing that would change their business flow for the year because actually the Tulsa area and Oklahoma city are the franchise headquarters area, so have all the corporate stores here that could do all the good tests on. And he said surprisingly, the thing that will do it is whether the skies are clear or cloudy. Tulsa’s highest and most reviewed Carpet Cleaner.

Speaker 1: (05:24)
Then he said if it’s a cloudy day outside, they’ll do a $1,500 less in work or in less business in a store that they would, if it’s a sunny day, even if it’s 20 or 30 degrees outside or if it’s 80 degrees. So the temperature didn’t matter that much. It was a sunny day or if it’s a sunny day, a non cloudy day, and it’s 15 to 20 degrees outside, they still would come and get food. Yeah. But if it’s a cloudy day and it’s 80 people would not get food. So it was an interesting phenomenon. We find that typically people call us once they notice what it is. Sometimes on a rainy day we’ll get a ton of cold. Sometimes on a sunny day, we’ll get no calls at a sunny day, we’ll get a ton of calls. So it seems like typically it’s as people have need and that kind of revolves around times of the year. A little bit right after Christmas when call volume drops. So how carboplatin told us in the 98 we are complete carpet.
