Speaker 2: (00:26)
I’m wondering how much I can get my carpets cleaned. Like wondering if it’s going to ruin the fibers of the carpets. Um, especially if my carpets are already frayed. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998.
Speaker 1: (00:41)
I actually got asked this question yesterday when I was cleaning a carpet. They, they thought they’ve got fairly new carpet, only about a year or two old and they wondered the same type of question. They said, will the cleaning take my carpet protected off of it causing it to wear out faster or to get dirty faster? And this is a valid question though. Um, for the regular, your average carpet cleaner should not use any chemical that we’ll remove. It should be generation five safe. But the reason that we don’t want to take that protective layer off is because it makes the cover protected. Is there to help the carpet cleaner, clean the carpet easier so it will make our job harder if we do something that removes that coding. So the uh, what really will break your carpet down is that you leave Dustin dirt on your carpet, which would like sandpaper and aware the fiber out faster. So you want to try to make sure your vacuum on a regular basis when your vacuum can’t pull it off. Then you want to call the carpet cleaner out to rinse off whatever sticky so the dirt can be sucked off again. Uh, when you think about, uh, maintaining something, uh, what, uh, what type of maintenance schedule do you feel like you’ve, you deal with stuff, destiny for regular stuff, not for anything that you’re trying to deal with. Say, um, your clothes. We’ll use your clothes and example cause it’s another type of fiber. A lot of times we think about carpets and think of their own unique band, but really anything that’s a textile fiber is really treated about the same. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998.
Speaker 2: (02:02)
Um, I guess I would just make sure it’s, uh, I w for jeans, I don’t typically clean them every single time that I wear them if, especially if I only wear them for a couple hours or something like that. But I typically wash them if I’ve either, if I’ve worn something all day or, um, if I’ve gone through a rough shift at work or, um, if it’s smelling bad or it’s, I’ve gotten it physically dirty. So it really depends for me. Tulsa’s highest and most reviewed Carpet Cleaner.
Speaker 1: (02:33)
So when you do get your jeans dirty, uh, what is one of the things that you’ll do? Do you just, uh, toss them in the hamper? Do you try to use a little cloth, try to touch them up a little bit yourself? Like what’s the point where you just won’t wear them again? Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998.
Speaker 2: (02:47)
Uh, the point where I won’t wear them again is if I get them really badly stained. Um, but it really depends. Like I’m pretty good at getting stains out. Um, most of the time, but if it’s a stain I really just can’t get out or it’s, or something like that where paint, it’s possible to get it out. Um, but it really depends on the jeans. Uh, I just think that, um, I guess it’s past recovery if there’s a really big hole in it or if there’s paint or a big stain in it, I guess. Tulsa’s highest and most reviewed Carpet Cleaner.
Speaker 1: (03:16)
And what about shirts when you’re dealing with the, your shirt? Obviously Jean materials a little more rugged or whereas a little bit better of course, unless you’re walking around and your knees you wear, holds them there, but your shirts, what do you do if you get a Oh, six, seven catch up on your shirt? What’s, what’s one of your tips? How do you address that? Do you just leave it there and throw it in the wash later or how do you handle it? Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998.
Speaker 2: (03:37)
Um, if I get something, um, like that on my shirt, I would definitely, no matter where I am, I don’t care. If I get embarrassed, I’ll just make a joke about it. Um, but I’ll take it to the, um, I’ll take it to the bathroom, hope that there’s an air dryer there and I’ll white it up real quick and uh, dry it with, um, and uh, did, I’ll wet it a lot and rinse it through. Uh, take maybe just a little tiny bit of soap and rinse it again. And then if it has an air dry dryer, I’ll just air-dry it until it looks good again. Or I’ll take a towel. Um, and just wet it really, really softly so that had not walking out with a huge wet stain on my shirt. And typically that gets it out. Tulsa’s highest and most reviewed Carpet Cleaner.
Speaker 1: (04:23)
And that’s actually a great advice for dealing with your carpet is you want to first try to rub off whatever you can, rinse out what you can use, just a little bit of soap to break down whatever’s left and then rent it out again. And that’s actually because carpet is just another fiber, just like your shirt is just like your jeans are a, you deal with your carpet in the same general manner. We actually model our processes the same way. A washing machine or a dishwasher does and we, we need to use something to soak and break down that the contaminant, whatever it is that’s gotten into there. And then you rinse it and then you dry it. And so that’s the three step or four step process. One, suck it out to rinse it out. Three soap it up and then four, rinse it out again. Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998.
Speaker 1: (05:06)
