Honestly, see, you can see the destructive power of water in a Rojan when water is flowing over an area. It just rained recently here and there was an entire water rushing over the street to just earlier because the water was coming down faster than the drainage area was allowing it to flow out. So you have the flow rate of everything. Everything’s got some type of flow rate. You’re like, what is a flow rate? Well, if you were to take a baby diaper, you’re gonna pour a certain amount of water into it at a speed faster than diaper could absorb.
The water will flow out as you’ve seen in commercial. See the blue liquid point onto the counter and instead of absorbing into the diaper, the same thing happens with a straw. We’ve ever taken a, Oh, it’s such a frustrating thing. You sitting there and you’re like, which straw shall I use Carpet Cleaner? And you reach over and you grab a coffee straw. This is the little tiny stir straws we use for coffees, which is great because coffee is very hot and you don’t want to just suck up a ton of coffee at once. You want to sip the coffee gentlemen, but can grab the coffee straw. You’re wanting to drink your dr pepper. The two are not going to connect well together. The coffee straw will inhibit. The amount of foot is getting through and so it kind of bubble out as you’re trying to suck through it.
It’ll be a very difficult experience, but you’re not going to get much liquid and you’re thirsty and you’re wanting to gulp the drink and not sip it. Now the reverse is true. If you grab a standard big gulp straw, which is the big red ones that are, you could almost fit your pinky inside of and you grab your hot coffee and try to sip from that, you’re going to get way too much coffee too fast. You also see this effect when you’re dealing with babies. They will, uh, as they’re learning, they start off as a small baby. You have the nipple on the bottle and you will suck on that and you have to, it requires you to take a certain amount of force. The baby’s used to the second motion to get a small amount of liquid and so they spend a long time nursing a five to 10 ounce bottle to try to get all of the liquid out of it.
Then so it requires this force, this action, and you’re go to get all of the liquid out and it enjoys it, little sips at a time. The first time a baby goes over it and you give it a straw in a glass without any restrictive suction. Well the baby will try to take a drink of it and it takes Carpet Cleaner, starts to suck on it and all of a sudden your Bush and it gets just like almost drowns in the water that is now drinking up because it sucks and it gets a whole mouth like it. Now it takes almost virtually no effort to suck that water into the baby or a little baby’s mouth and it kind of gags and jokes. Well that’s what happens sometimes when you’re dealing with water in other places. Let’s say that you have a little splash of water in a pan somewhere.
You can just wipe that up. You have an entire pitcher gets knocked over water. You better grab a towel because they sponge or a paper towel is not going to help. You do try to capture that liquid fast enough and so we want to think about the places that it could go. One of the things to watch out for is the smell. One of the easiest ways because every now and they work, if you’re in a house for 10 years, you’re probably going to have water damage. At least warrants generally seems to be over a 10 year period or customer. Each customer we deal with at some point has a water leak in some form of capacity. Sometimes it’s an exterior leak, like a headache, rain. Other times it’s an interior leak like a a faucet or a sink or a tub that overflows or toilet overflows.
Um, and a lot of times it’s simple things that we just don’t think about like replacing the lines of supply lines, going to your hot water heater, um, that are going from the hot water heater to your, um, washing machine because you’ve got these lines. You got this rubber hose that has been sitting there with under pressure with hot water sitting in it for quite a long time and all of a sudden you have an issue because it is getting, um, stiff and brittle Carpet Cleaner Tulsa since 1998 we are complete carpet. Obviously first things first and you figure out where the moisture came from and stop the moisture from getting there and fix it. The leak eventually, or if it is the entire room or multiple rooms. And it’s gotten under wood floors and your tile and it’s everywhere else. Then you probably want to call a full on restoration company like um, ServPro bar graph. Um, there are uh, surface master, there’s quite a few that uh, specialized in this only and you want to go with the restoration company cause now you’re gonna have to deal with the insurance and you’re gonna want to um, get somebody who’s going to take responsibility for this.
The area, uh, if there’s wood rot, if there is um, wood floors that need to be replaced, Carpet Cleaner may need to be replaced. Um, you’ll need to dry just both the carpet, the flooring, the walls, wherever the moisture has gotten to potentially so that you can make sure that it’s fully dried. Cause if you don’t get in there, give it some forced air heat to dry it. It could stay wet for up to a week.
