I have your host, Nathan Sabrina’s and we’re going to continue from our last podcast, talking about the power of your own intentions in your own mind that you can make, you can make the world into what you would like it to, or you could be made into what the world will make you into it. You could say that this isn’t the life I’ve chosen, but the reality is is that by choosing not to teach yourself something else that you are giving control over to somebody else, it’s absolutely cool. But let’s get first into your habit patterns, what you do. And we talked last time about how two people can experience the same set of scenarios, but come out with two polarly opposite, uh, responses, because they choose one chooses to be defined by their scenarios Carpet Cleaning. One chooses to learn from their, to their scenario. And G I used to make sure that they vow that never will happen to them. You could be around a parent who doesn’t save money. They’re always broke and you could choose to go out there. And a virtually everybody in my, on my mother’s side of the family, they grew up dirt poor, and they family of eight. And they had all of these brothers and sisters and they, uh, they never got to have anything. And they’ve all grown up to become super successful people because they bow that they were never going to live in that level of poverty or that level of lack.
And so they went out there, they worked really hard to make sure that they changed their circumstances. So they didn’t live the way they grew up. And all of them virtually every single one of them got on to own their own business and start their own. They’ve got on Duke. Well, outpaced the grandparents hands down versus everybody just went on and really did their thing because they had that drive and determination side of them that said, I, I will, I’m going to do something different for my life. And we all had that moment in our life where somebody challenges you, you and you either you were rising the challenge or you back away from the challenge, but then also it is your choice. It’s your decision, right? But we’re talking about different ones like that. So going back now to looking at what life will do for you, as you go into your habit patterns and coming up with your decisions of what you want to accomplish and do in your life and you get in there and you say, okay, based upon my habit patterns, based upon the ideas of the things that I want to do in my life, I will either choose to do this or choose to do.
Now I love the verse in the Bible says today, choose who you will serve. You either can serve God or Madden. You can either serve. If you can’t, no, man can serve two masters who leave for their loved one and hate the other, or hate one and love the other. And so you’ve got to choose and make a decision who it is that you want to be, because these things are not something that happened by act. They will have a match in it, but they won’t be something of your choosing Carpet Cleaning. So we talk about how 50% of your worldview, your moral core is in place. By the time you are age five. And because of that, you are going to have a lot of things that are set. This is great because this is your survival instinct. This is your fight or flight. These are the things that you say, Hey, when I’m, when push comes to shove, do do with this, does the, when the going gets tough, do the tough get going, or do they stand up and stand in place?
Um, do, when you see something wrong happen around you, do you point it out and ask for someone to come and help Carpet Cleaning? Or since you noticed it, do you help there there’s two vastly different viewpoints or ideas ideologies. They’re saying, Hey, um, I can, I can do something or I can find somebody who can do something, or I will do nothing. You got your anti confrontational people, which, um, they see a problem and they want to go hide because they don’t want to confront Trump. They don’t want to rock the boat, so to speak. And there’s other people who are always rocking the boat. They’re always right there in the midst of it and the thick of it. And so, yeah,
And you have to look at what it is you’re doing and trying to accomplish so that you could try to get to that next level. That next thing that you’re wanting to try to find in your life. And a lot of times, you’re not quite sure what that next level, that next thing is Carpet Cleaning. And you can’t figure out why you’re not getting the traction or the response that you’re wanting to try to get. And this is because you’ve got a habit in your life that was set there, that you don’t know why it’s there. And this isn’t a bad thing. That’s most of your life. And you should be able to go on autopilot and not have to, um, define every single moment and figure out what it is that you’re trying to do, because it would take way too much time for you to really noodle out, figure out everything.
You look to other people around you, you see someone who has success, and then you just copy that success. Now that doesn’t mean that that success is the best way for you to do it, but it is a way, and it gets you past what it is you’re trying to accomplish right now. But when you start looking around and you start having this cognitive dissonance, where you look around and say, Hey, I am not accomplishing or doing the things that I think are my, in my best interest. It’s because your body has a habit and you’re trying to not to do that habit. And the problem is trying not to do something. Isn’t doing something. And this is where you have to get in there and say, okay, it’s not that I don’t want to do something. It’s that I do want to do something now, go out there and teach yourself what it is you want to do.
I would like to be on time. So that means that from, for the next one month, I’m going to teach myself how to be on time. I’m going to set a timer one hour before the thing I’m going to GPS, how to get there and make sure that I leave. When my GPS says I will be there 15 minutes early. And then I just always be 15 minutes already for one month straight. And at the end of that one month thing, I’ve taught myself to try to be 15 minutes early to everything. And I may get there 15 minutes early. Then I’ll take with me something that I want to do to kill the time. But that way I’m never late. I made sure that I just knocked out the thing. Cause you don’t, you aren’t early or late by some cosmic force. You just following a pattern like your dad always would get there and then look to see exactly show up exactly on time. So we always left to where you ended up exactly on time, which meant he was always late. Could there be some type of traffic Carpet Cleaning? Probably even Tulsa’s 90, 98.
