Welcome to the Carpet Cleaning demon podcast. I’m your host, Nathan Sabrina’s. And we’re going to continue from our last podcast talking about, uh, the two financial tips that will revolutionize everything that you do. Uh, we started off by talking about the phenomenon that you need to number one, believe and understand. So you do need to believe you can do something. You have to have it as an idea, as a vision, as a concept, because as the moment you stopped believing you stopped doing just the same way as we’re talking to the last thing that you’re searching for your keys, you do not anything that you look for ever in your life. Anything you look for, you will always find it in the last pace place. You, and it is always 100% of the time. That’d be the last place he looked because once you find it, you quit looking.
You no longer keep looking because you’ve found it. Your brain will say Carpet Cleaning, I know where the location of that is. I do not need to look anymore. You file it away is no it’s in my pocket. And I do not look anywhere as I’m walking around. I do not. I’m not key aware. I’m not aware of where the keys are thinking of where the keys are. Cause I know where the keys are. They’re just sitting in my pocket. And so this is important that you make sure, and you’ve done this with your kids and you have your kids sitting there and they look at you and they say, I can’t do that. And you’re trying to teach themselves. So there’s two things you can do. One first, you have to say, yes, you can do that or give them a positive affirmation. Say, look, we have yet to give you anything that is not possible for you to do so.
I need you to say, I can do this and I can do, I can do that. Yes, I can do. I can do this. Yes, I can do it. Okay, cool. Now that you know that you can do it. Now, we need to get your brain unstuck and the best way to get unstuck. If you get stuck on a problem, you get stuck on an issue. You get stuck on anything that you’re doing. You need to get out there and give your brain food. How do you feed your brain? A lot of people talk about certain food. You can eat certain drinks you can drink. And it’s actually a lot more simple than that. That is how you feed your body. But how do you feed your brain is different Carpet Cleaning. Oxygen is the brain feeder. Uh, exercise is the brain feeder. Increasing blood flow is the brain feeder.
So what you need to do is, and this is what I have all my kids do. And they know that this works cause they’ve done it for their whole life. And so if they feel like they’re stuck in a project, I tell them, all right, I need you to do 10 jumping jacks. They step back. They do 10 dumping jacks. And then I say all let’s let’s let’s approach this problem. Again, they look at the problem and then Nope. Still not there. Okay. Let’s try again. There’s brain cloud brain freeze. It’s gonna do 20 jumping jacks. All right. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. Oh my gosh. I have to keep going. 17. I’m feeling all worn out eight. You know, I don’t know what I’m going to do 19. Whew. I kind of hold on.
I’m out of breath. I need to really start dating, breathing that much higher and deeper in and really dig down deep and say, Hey, you know what? I know. I, I know what it is. And all of a sudden you’ve fed your brain with some oxygen. You’ve fed your brain with blood and then your brain solves the thing that you’re trying to get to. It goes, Oh, Hey, I figured it out. That’s where you have the Eureka moment. The aha moment. Uh, there’s a lots of high end executives that the first thing they do in every day is they go workout for 30 minutes to an hour because they want to feed their brain to give it all that energy. And they, they typically will solve a lot of their problems. A lot of things that are heavy and deep on their plate get solved while they’re doing their exercise because they’re allowing their brain time to be quiet, time to focus, focus on something else that’s not there.
And they allow the noise, the white noise to get out of your head Carpet Cleaning. Cause we have five people talking to you all at one time. There’s no way to focus on any conversation, but if you have one person with your sole attention and you cut out all the other noises, then you could solve a problem really quick and easy that way. So there’s a pro tip. Just help with your kids. You can tell they’re stuck with something having to do 10 jumping jacks, and then I’m gonna do 20 jumping jacks. And typically that will clear that brain fog, where you at least are able to think logically about the thing because you fed your now let’s get over to what you can do with your finances. I’m gonna give you two pro tips. I’m going to encapsulate all the super moves that everyone does out there all into one, all these two tips that are gonna revolutionize your finances.
And it could be all right. I write them down over the next couple of podcasts because there are so deceptively simple yet. So complex. You could probably teach weekly and weekend and weekends worth of, um, seminars on these different topics and ideas. But right now we’re just going to give it to you all in one thing. So here’s the deal. First, number one, you need to spend less than you. You make. And I knew you were kind of probably like no duh, sure, Locke, thank you for that super thing. But this is actually one of those things that many people do not think about is that you have a set amount, the money that’s coming in. So you cannot add yeah. Anything to your budget that is not going to you fit within your budget. So I can say, you know what? I’d love to go out to eat every, all the time, but I can’t go out to eat all the time because I do not make enough money to afford to go out to eat all the time.
I’d love to have super nice health insurance, but I can’t, I’d love to have the premium cable, but I can’t. I’d love to have a Ferrari or Maserati, but I can’t. I’d love to have a million-dollar home, but I can’t because I have yet to make an, a sufficient, sufficient amount of money afford those items and things. And so a lot of times we will pick and choose the thing that we you care most about Carpet Cleaning. I tell people, pick two things that you love the most and then really enjoy those things and skimp and save and cut back on everything else. You know, like I’ve cut out cable. I’ve cut out all kinds of things because I want to have a nice theater system. So I had to sacrifice all these other things that I didn’t care so much about. You know, if I don’t care so much about my toothbrush, I’m not going to go buy a robotic super toothbrush, but I don’t care that much about the vacuum.
I’m not going to spend a thousand dollars in my vacuum, but do care a lot about the sound in my home theater. I may spend a thousand dollars on the sound system because I really want to enjoy that. And I gave up everything else. I had cheap and efficient and tried to just be super tight on everything else so that I could afford to have a really nice sound system. So to semis the number one, I’ll give you a tip. Number two in the next section, tip number one is to spend less than you make, which means you take the amount of money that you’ve made and you work backwards and you say, what am I allowed to spend on? I can’t spend it. It seems so many times where a young person is working a seven to $10 an hour job Carpet Cleaning. They’re working like a four to five hour shift and then, then go get lunch and they spend $15 at lunch. I mean, that’s almost an hour and a half or two hours. It’s almost 30 to 40% of your entire work time.
